I agree with you. Had the two decisions gone in India's favor (They should have), the result would surely have been different. Umpires are always biased with the Indians. I don't know what problem they have with the Indian players. It made me remember India's last tour of Australia where world class umpires like Steve Bucknor and Mark Benson led India to dramatic defeat in the final ten minutes of second test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trohpy.

No need to cover up.

The two consecutive white washes of 4-0 each in test matches, and so many crushing defeats of Team India in ODIs are not due to umpiring

Even in yesterday's match India was no match to Australia. Every batsman was terribly struggling. Please accept that Team India is a team of over aged and tired guys who are now trying to find ways to cover up their total failure.

The dramatic defeat of India you are talking about is because of Indian batsmen could not save the last 3 wickets and gifted away to a part time spinner in mere 2 overs.

Dhoni is 100% right in protesting. Not that 1 correct decision would change the result or something, but we are not pu551e5 to sit silently over such raw deals!!
Is it wrong to say that we were cheated twice in the same match? I am surprised at some of our fellow bloggers think so!

Nothing will change. Please accept that Indian team is full of over aged greedy rich cricketers who are blocking younger generation to come into the team. Ashwin has proved it. Why not Rahane and Manoj Tiwari not given a chance.

Why they took a promising youngster like Manoj Tiwari and who is yet to play his first match.

Do not try to hide your total failure behind umpiring decisions. The team is weak and tired and trying to hide is long list of failures in the last one year.

Haha! Apart from great cricket followers like you, nobody is linking the losses to umpiring errors :)
It is better that u read the article properly (twice or thrice, if u dont understand) and then comment.

Dumbguys, understand that Dhoni never said we would have won if not for these errors.

Our people should first read the article, then read the comments. Rarely do we see this happening, all we know is to speak ill of Indian cricketers..... Pathetic!

Umpires in Aus favour

very, very poor umpires, don know how they were selected, should be fined, or given match ban. so that in future these kind of umpires will learn their job.

Dhoni was giving chance after chance (twice dropped by Watson) and he should not complain. He must accept that he is a tired energy less guy.

On what basis he feels that he was given LBW? Hawk Eye??? But he does not believe in DRS.

Dhoni sounds pathetic... nothing else...it is going to be very difficult to lift the teams performance...stop all matches in India...always play in England, SA, Nland and Australia..... lose, lose, and lose and start winning then..... drop bowlers like praveen, vinay, RPsingh, drop batsmen like sehwag, sachin, gambhir.... hv faith in Kohli, Raina, Rohit Sharma,Manoj Tiwari, rahul sharma, ashwin, Ozjha.... bring in news players like... saurav tiwari, manish pandey and paul valthaty... fast bowlers like....sorry i find no names... borrow some players from Paks..

You sound pathetic. He is doing the right thing by raising an obvious discrepancy. But confused people cant deal with it. he hasnt claimed we lost bcz of it, but that this needs to be looked at and fixed.

Are we really World Champs
by cr srinivas on Feb 27, 2012 11:54 AM

I think India is the only Nation where it didn't dominate whole world after winning World Cup.for instance Srilanka after winning World cup 1996,They are unbeatable for next 2 years till 1998 and Aussies they are unbeatable till 2008 after winning 1999 WC.So India after winning 2011 WC. India lost to England and now in Aussies. This shows how inconsistent our players and Team.Dhoni is trying to show external factors for the loss. The blamed Umpires,Toss(loosing toss is loosing match for him),He told we batted in difficult conditions but SL how they won p[laying second.Captaincy is all about how to react to diiferent conditions.Jayawardene showed his class and Tactics in winning Matches.

by pradeep agarwal on Feb 27, 2012 11:53 AM  | Hide replies

The tendency to shift blame on thing other then team performance is now a regular feature of his media interaction.Sachin has simply disgraced himself on both away tours & will do nation a favour by not showing his face to fans. The team needs a new captain, coach & chairman selection committee to overcome this fiasco
