I do not understand why india should be the only team always upholding the spirit of the game.Australians always believe that you are out only when the umpire gives you out even if they know for themselves that they are out.I also remember replays being shown of thirimanne walking out of the crease on the bowling of Vinaykmar inspite of being warned earlier.I doubt if England as in Case of Ian bell (runout) or Srilanka or Australia will ever reciprocate in the same way.In case of David Hussey the ball would have hit his body not head.What i saw in case of Sachin/LEE was lee moved across sachin who was confused on the path to take to avoid collision because in case of collision Sach would have never made his ground.I doubt that in case of collision and stumps being hit australians would have withdrawn their appeal.
sachin was supposed to be out now a days by any way. so if he gets runout then we r crying. if any other player would have got out in similar fashion then no one will cry. What Lee has done is not correct but if you see the history of game it has been done by many players from all the countries including indian players. Let us cry for india not for sachin any more.

1. Last time I saw cricket (yesterday), Sachin was playing for India. 2. Read the above article, there is no mention of Sachin at all. You are the one who is crying for Sachin now :)
Why does it happen only with Indian team that they have to behold the spirit of the game where as other teams walk so easily? In game against Srilanka the umpires were not penalized for letting Srilanka bowl 1 ball less and probably we would have won the match. The decision of Virender Sehwag to allow the batsman continue after run out at the bowler's end was wrong. He should have gone with the rule. Why any one should allow a batsman any extra yard of run even without the ball being bowled. The punching of wrong button by third umpire in the game against Australia is also unpardonable. Bretlee definitely obstructed Sachin by standing on the running course even if he pretended that he did nothing. It made Sachin slow in his run up to the crease.

I feel so amused to see how people are debating whether Lee's action was correct or wrong. It happens always in any sport. It happens all the time even the world's most priced sport, the American Football. What happened was part of the game. India should look for the same revenge next time they meet Australia. Apart from that, we should be asking why India's performance was so poor in this competition? We were told by Dhoni's company that one days will be completely different from test matches, after all, India is one-day world cup champion. Now Dhoni is crying for an obstruction; that is not the sign for a champion.
The Media should be at the receiving end. It was clear from the run out of tendulakr that Bret Lee has seen tendulkar running down and had intentionally blocked the way. The replay from the front angel was shown only once and was not repeated after that. We are talking about sacking our players. We have been the richest cricketing nation but the other countries have overtaken us just by playing there umpires.
ram rajya era to believe in spirit of cricket / being gentlemen / forgiving and all that nonsense... thats why they were ruled by evils mozlems and whites for a 1000 years and still ruled by evil c4 despite being third class citizens in their own land...
