Now that India's chances of making it to the finals is remote by any stretch of imagination, I wish SL play with the same passion and hunger that they showed today... Otherwise just making it to the finals and losing tamely would serve no purpose... Do not let the arrogant aussies win in the final...
clarke said that he dropped ponting because he is a poor fielder and gives more runs by way of his bad fielding than he scores with bat. but the point Mr Clarke is...what have you done to justify your place in the side ? Your batting is as if SRK slapping FK's husband while Ponting's batting is like Sunny Deol bashing the goons in ArjunPandit movie. We all know the difference between the two. The latter is sheer class while the former is sheer lack of the same.

rightly said... no day clarke can be compared to Ricky Ponting... Though ricky has an attitude problem, when it comes to talent and knowledge of the game he is miles ahead of clarke and no day Clarke will command the same respect that ricky had...

Yes he will. Clarke will retire as a great, maybe not as much as Ponting but like McGrath, Gilly etc. Pup is also a way better captain tactically than Punter ever was.

Nonsense. Ponting was dropped due to bad form not fielding issues. You're confusing it with Dhoni's comments about seniors.
Now, with this result, India must win both the games to have a chance to make to the Final. I hope India will have all the 3 seniors in Sachin, Sehwag and Gambir in the line up and not include Rohit and Jadeja for the all the imp tie against Aus. My team would be. Sacin Gambir Kohli Sehwag Raina Dhoni Tiwari Irfan Zaheer Praveen Ashwin.

SAchin and GAmbhir , Raina are susceptible to Swing bowling, Not much can be expected from these.. people.. it is curtains for India in CB series.

you are right it is curtains .The good thing about Indian team is they make average batsmen look great and ordinary bolwers best of the century.
