That's the tough aspect of Aussie cricket. Years down the line the same thing will repeat yourself when you reach the age of 36, forceful transition from international cricketer to retired cricketer in a day.
Sachin has hardly played any games after great successful era of World cup. He played key role in winning WC. Campare last 20 innings of all playes, then Dhobhi should go first. He loves the game let him play till our king yuvi comes back. Once he joins, then Sachin may take a call
Can Dhoni do the same to Sachin ? Our selectors needs to be bold enough to sack Sachin on current form & fitness. Go selectors go .. Do the inevitable .. have guts to sack one of the greatest players in the history of the games.

In India only those great players have to decide when to retire. Selectors or captain have no say.

If clark shi ts in sink does Dhoni has to..?? There is diff betwn ponting and SRT and look last whole year for ponting...this ODI serT still going good...

yaa there is diffrence between pointing and sachin 1. Pointing is part of 3 world cup winning team two as captain sachin has only 1 2. Pointing has dominated the oppostion more then sachin.
3. pointing has to play mostly on bowler dominated pitechs where sachin has played mostly on batting dominated pitches.

Ponting has given cricket a alot . His contribution to australian cricket is unmachable . Cricket australia should have given some more time to Ponting in ODI too . Now i feel his carrier in test is also not sure ...

I didnt like ponting at all, specially after 2008 series. . He was rude on field and off the field..but he has served aus cricket a LOT..They shud hv given him farewellmatch and allow him to retire from ODI with dignity...Shame on Aus mgt. Hope they rectify hthe mistake for Test career atleast. He certainly didnt deserve this..and that clark dude is just combo of ponting and shane ..yeah right !!! drugged arrogant brain..
The Difference between Indian Selectors and Aussie Selectors is Quick and Firm Decision,Indian Selectors have guts to sack Sachin or Sehwag from ODIs.Selectors and all our bullshit Commentators(Ravi Shasthri and Sunny Gavaskar) are twelling Sachin has to think of his retirement not others.So How many more match India will be costed For Sachin.If Sachin really respectedthe Nation he should have retired long back.
