There is rift in the team, it is very apparent in the public comments of Dhoni, Gambhir, Sehwag , Ashwin etc. , how they are indirectly sneering at each other

agreed. its purposely done by them to comment which generates controversy.
dhoni's rotiation policy is good but its not good if it applies only for 3 players n to include only rohit sharma. y not rotation policy adopted to include tiwari? y not for rahul sharma or irfan pathan?
yes rest top 3 but also include others except rohit.
If Kapil feels Sachin is not good for Onedayers, say so; everyone, including the selectors, are so scared to take a stand - even those who say there is no God, but scared of a living God!

Sachin should retire himself immedately and should not wait for the end of the series. Because due to his decision india is now suffering and suffering badly. players like uthappa and yusuf pathan and manoj tiwari may be tried. sachin pleasssssssse announce your retirement. You are now not capable to play ODIs. so take a lesson from ponting and retire and give chance to youngsters. because they may also take some time to settle down.

You said Yusuf Pathan and Robin Uthapa. Now come on their records speak for themselves. I can understand if you tell give others chance maybe even Manoj Tiwary or some other new player but not the above two mentioned in place of Sachin.

Did Kapil felt the same for himself when the team dragged him for two years so that he can break Hadlee's record;

How much he struggled to reach the landmark of highest wickets in Test matches. You are spot on with your comment

I meant a stand with steadfast opinions - not like it is up to him, who am I, it is my humble opinion etc! Be bold, stand up as a man and now more like a woman! Regarding Kapil, he did struggle, not like what we suffer now!
