find a new player to invest first, then let us switch to them. No player has scored a century for India this year. ONly chambir and Dhoni has a good average this year, Sachin/raina/Rohit/Sehwag/Kohli all have below par averages. And if one takes last year avearage..sachin is up there with an average of 46 and 2 centuries, second to only Kohli in number of centuries for India. 5 matches with less score and sachin should be out of team? And his performance all upto this 5 innings does not count? If then Raina/Rohit?Sehwag/Gambhir and Dhoni would have been the first to be shown for perfrming below par for maore than 10-20 matches at a trot. Lucky them and poor tendulkar... did he entertained these guys all these years until the last 5 matches??

who are you? he is the most successful captain of india, so u shut ur mouth. Did u even held a bat? what he is saying is absolutely right. Even that jadeja is over hyped and is in the team because of that dhoni.

well whatever u can say..but fact is tendulkar should have retired long back...SO insist of dhoni sayng they r dropped he is sayin they r rotating ...Ganguli himself was on ordinary (below) fielder, who was forced to retire. Time has come for indian cricket selectors to take tough decision and look at future. Sehwag has not done anything except that 219.. so why he is in team ???

Hahaha..these are truly funny times in cricket. First Kapil dev, who hung around to get his world record wants the legend tendulkar to retire! Now ganguly who was a sitting duck on bouncy pitches is talking about technique! And Sehwag disagrees with Dhoni at every press conference! And No1 England gets trashed 3-0 and in turn Pakistan gets trashed 4-0! The gentlemans game is probably the comedians game right now. Entertaining neverthless!!

atleast ganguly scored two test centuries in australia and a couple of odi centuries. The most successful captain till date. Who is raina??? flop in england, west indies and now australia. similarly, that over-hyped jadeja. All because of dhoni's favoritism.

Send raina or dhoni or jadeja to open in Aust. and you will see who is the burden. These players will average less than 5 in whole series.

atleast ganguly not having record of getting out in bouncers....
BCCI replaced Ganguly with Dhoni after persisiting with him for long even when his form had slumped for a considerable period of time. Remember the jokes doing the rounds about Ganguly going to bat and asking his wife to hold the phone as he will be back after two minutes! Now he is looking for an opportunity to get back at Dhoni!

U r mistaken :) Selectors replaced Ganguly with Dravid/Kumble for ODIs/tests. And it is not common for retired players to target today's players. No need to sensationalize this news Mak :)

Good team.I also Suggested pretty much the same..if bowlers are to be rotated to avoid injuries then Umesh, Vinay, Aaron, Munaf, should be played and among batsmen...Mayank Agarwal a upcoming batsman..can be played when Pandey fails and Raydy can be played when Tiwary fails...we need a young team

This is completely wrong. Actually Dhoni got the benefits of Ganguli\'s dedicated contribution to make a team India with young talented players. Besically Dhone is a lucky chap who gets the cream of the layer.

He was best when Gary was coach. The secret is Gary took into confidence the seniors who gave more than 100% and did not get away with dhoni's tacts. Hence team was sucessful under the name of Dhoni but all credit should be to Gary

thats not a fair statement yash..DHONI HAS done good with an ordinary bowling attack. still I dont agree about DHoni's tacts etc. yes i feel is sometimes very stubborn and rigid, due to which he plays players like ravindra jadeja and all
Test captain should be Virat Kohli and Dhoni should carry on in T20s and ODIS. Its moreover team which is not performing we cannot just blame a single player or Dhoni for the demise .
gangly too was too stuck up on certain players. He just couldn't see it when he was playing.. Easier to read the game from outside. He was probably a shade better than dhoni in captaincy but too soon became a liability as a player having major form slumps. At least dhoni s odi s perfomamces as a batsman and keeper are good

Yes, an ordinary player who had contributed most in India's famous Natwest trophy victory in England. Which we can't even think in Dhoni's time.

One performance doesn guarantee class bro...just check at his overall performance ..Kaif was a great fielder mayb one of the best we have ever seen in India..but he had limited abilites with the bat..given the no. of chances he recieved he did not utilise it completely..

Whatever players were available that point of time Kaif was one of the best, he was the captain of under 19 world champion Indian team. Do you really think we don't have better player than Raina in our roaster when playing abroad??
