rotation policy is good

gud teams dont depend on toss only. losses don't matter much but the manner of losses do. v r suffering huge losses both in tests and ODIs, all becasue of our brittle top order which is doing precious little. Nothing wrong with rotation policy becasue dats the only way v can accomodate sachin & sehgwag otherwise they both don't deserve a place. both have played more than 20 innings (2 each in 8 test defeats) and some ODIs. had Ponting not scored agaisnt us in tests, he would have been shown the door in tests also and he has also taken it very sportingly without any fuss. Indian selecors should also take a cue. nothing is permanent, nobody is above the game. all gud things come to an end. It is very ridiculous to say that seniors should go of their own. It is not that they all be sacked but definitely phased so that some youngster is able to play alonside the greats and that is why the rotation policy is good idea though it may not be giving results right now but I am sure it will help the youngsters. It should be followed in tests also where out of four - Sachin, Seghwag, Dravid & Laxman - only two should be played, depending upon their form, fitness etc., to give chance to youngsters and there will be no sudden vacancy and all is planned. I am sure if u give 20 innings to some youngster he will definitely score more runs.I hope this time around the selectors show some guts & take hard decisions. I also want crickers to grace like ponting in accpting that time ha

shouldn't have withdrawn the appeal
by Raja on Feb 22, 2012 12:26 PM

Indians should not have withdrawn the appeal for running out thirmanne...what absurd reason calling it spirit of the game...If spirit of the game is to be maintained such rule of making out the batsman should not be provided to the bowler and you give an option to bowler and then if he uses it then spirit of the game is brought in....If bowling team spirit is questioned then y not the runner spirit??? He can walk few steps which is not right before delivery and noone is critical on him...ridiculous...

It is not only top order batting
by AdinGoyyale on Feb 22, 2012 10:53 AM

Your bowling was atrocious. One day wonders Vinay, Ashwin cant compete in the international scene. This is the result of ignoring time tested Harbhajan, Munaf Patel, Sreesanth. Even Ojha and Rahul Sharma would have bowled much better
