by arvin g on Feb 21, 2012 02:12 AM  | Hide replies

in last 5-6 years of ur 1-day career u hardly took any wicket and scored any runs... u continued playing for 3 years scoring less than 300 runs in almost 40 games and taking about 25 wickets at around 40 ave... u wont have retired if u did not get injured... u should be ashamed to advise sachin now with ur poor credentails and example setting...

So what, He is still entitle to his opinion.

It's like saying, 'arvin g'-you haven't done nothing in your lide except sitting on a broken chair in your mohm's basement and posting complete nonsense on Redif. And for that reason, you should be ashamed to advise Kapil..

How about that??

Kapil, remember ur last 2 yr record..then speak
by alex on Feb 21, 2012 02:09 AM

Make sure u r 100% perfect in ur own business/job then u add comment Sachin..he too will have some bad patch..but everyone should have that...eg.Dhoni failed in almost all world cup matches but played good in final...so if some one axed due to poor form, would we won WC-11?.sehwag failing from long time, same with Rohit,Raina, jadeja (bat/bowl ?)..but if someone has to need attention, they just speak abt Sachin..eg. Kapil. We all saw how poor he was in his last 2 yr.Remember azar giving him 5 over in test match.:)..now he is also giving suggestion when no body asking any suggestion from him. May be he dont want any player should be more famous than him.lokos like he is Aussi agent...let the series should finish then u omit whatever u want..!!atleast kapil should go record book and see his own last 2 yr records

KapilPaji...look who is talking..?
by C M on Feb 21, 2012 01:40 AM  | Hide replies

Kapil was gr8 on pitch but of course all rememeber he was not delivering good enough and was being hit around left and right during his last few test matches..He just wanted to take over Hadlee...Ind is/was still proud of that record THEN,fair enough..But he is as nasty as he can be when he opens his mouth...SRT is still going good..The same boasting Kapil suggested the same SRT when he was kid ..playing test match is nothing when u play for atleast 1o yrs then u can be proud of etc etc why..?? becoz SRT was playig his first match in 1989 and Kapil had fininshed 10 yrs of internations cricket in same yr..Now the same SRT played more than 20 the same Kapil has diff suggestion...smells like hypocracy Paaji...

Your statement is slightly wrong, Kapil told SRT to play for 10 years with out any injury, where sachin was injured for first time in 1999 against pak in Chennai Test.

Can anyone replace him right away if he quits today!! Not Exactly
by surya devarakonda on Feb 21, 2012 01:15 AM  | Hide replies

Agreed that he is not delivering now a days upto his caliber!. But is there someone who can replace this machine of runs, experience and responsibility right away. I don't think so! You need to have someone like him in the team until one is found who has the skill to get into his shoes. We are definitely having few young batsmen who can deliver it good. But, still they are too unstable to be left out alone in the field without someone from whom they can learn. It will be like bunch highly voltile guys putting their best efforts to play good, but, still can't get ahead with distracting things like on-field sledging etc.

What an idiotic comment from you. In a land of a billion you think there is no player capable of replacing this over hyped player ? this is why India has not improved in any field since independence, such short sighted mentality from Indians like you. Sachin is blocking the careers of many talented Indian players. Ponting has already been dropped by the Aussie selectors, it's time the Indians do the same. Somebody will come good. It's the hope that matters. Sachin has done well for India but enough is enough. Time to move on.

I was expecting this reply. A land of billion has been banking on this single person for past 2 decades. So is that something to be written off. Have someone so far in those 2 decades proved that "yes, i am his replacement in a long run"? Get an answer for this and then write him off. And moreover didn't anyother batsmen never given a chance while he is in the team. Thats stupidity. Alas he occupies only on slot in the team not the entire team. It's not surprising for u to balme only him for any match that india looses instead of balming the other 10. You do so coz you internally still realize how crucial he is. Accept it Bro.

India won 60% of matches when he scored. In India's road to finals in the not forgettable 2003 WC, he is the key player. BTW he was the MOS too. Even in last WC, he did his job.

While we all adore and acknowledge sachin's mammoth feats... all good things must come to an end... Dhoni's policy of rotation is limited to the top 3 and a certain raina and rohit and jadeja dont figure in it... what wrong did manoj tiwari do.. someone who can hit the ball on the rise and is a great fielder too... MSD himself is sloppy behind the stumps and looks indifferent most of the times that gets passed off as being cool when the team does well

Agreed. In the last match we lost recent, we mostly say sachin is at fault playing the match. What did Dhoni, Virat or Rohit deliver. 3 run outs miss by the Mr. Cool (all the three guys have added 150 runs to aus total). Poking into a easy catch by Rohit and Virat is only interested in responding verbally to the audience but not with bat.

Guys, don't waste your energy by writing negative about Sachin.

People like Surya D are well paid by benami 'Sachin agency'. It's their job to project Sachin's sagging image.

Sachin gave India evderything he has
by Gurjot Singh on Feb 21, 2012 12:27 AM  | Hide replies

We just want one last thing from the greatest cricketer on earth -- the Mahasatak. Until then we should not force him out. Let us show him respect and gratitude that he deserves. Some people may say that Ricky was dropped by Australia from ODI team unceremoniously. But remember we are not Australia and SRT is a player light years ahead of Ricky.
