Sehwag becoming the captain is a disaster waiting to happen for india. He has proven that he is not the best captain around, be it for the national team or for his ipl team delhi daredevils. Gambhir is the ideal choice after dhoni. He had led india to a 5-0 sweep against the visiting kiwi team. Irrespective of who the opposition is, i think gambhir should be the ideal alternative after dhoni
Sachin has scored bulk of his runs as an opener. But, with Dhoni not playing we need a senior batsman in the middle order. My opinion is that, we need Gauti to open with Parthiv patel (Parthiv as ODI nightwatchman to protect Sehwag and Sachin against Malinga), followed by Sehwag, Sachin, Kohli, Raina/Tiwari, Pathan, Ashwin, Jadeja, Praveen and Zaheer / Vinay Kumar.
If we are chasing, even Pathan can be sent at No.3 to score quick 25 or 30.
I never say, Sachin is short of confidence, but we need stable middle order. As of now, it looks vulnerable in the absence of Dhoni. We need finishers and Raina / Rohit are in capable in Aussie condition.

If Captain Dhoni says leakage of 20 runs from these guys but he will definitely say it is not in the cae of Dravid. He could have batted also better than these 3
I think its high time that SACHIN Should retire from ODI on his own otherwise he may be axed from team like DRAVID AND GANGULI.Now he seems to be less motivated also since his dream of winning world cup is over.
