Billy Bowden was looking like a confused Traffic policeman in the game.
He gave Sharma out which was correct then asked him to stay and crossed his hands
secondly before that when Sachin was hit on helmet and ball was caught by aus fielder he moved from position and asked for the ball .
It would have been ok if it was last ball of over but that was not the case.

Lame excuse

This is just an excuse - Dhoni has nowhere to hide as all the shortcomings of the famed batting lineup have been exposed

I am not a fan of Dhoni, but if famed batting line up has failed what dhoni can do about that?U want him to teach Sachin,Gauti, virat and company of how to bat?

Conflict of interest..
by Michael Angelo on Feb 20, 2012 07:53 AM

R.Jadeja was picked up by CSK. BCCI president and Chief of Selectors are both CSK guys. So Dhoni was given strict intstruction to pick up R.Jadeja at all costs. R.Jadeja can't bowl or bat well. But he will be picked for all matches. Dhoni is giving rubbish excuses. Gauti is not a slow mover on the field. Dhoni is under pressure form N.Srinivasan and Srikanth to reserve one place for R.Jadeja. If Jadeja s dropped it will be an insult to CSK. So Dhoni is using this ridiculous rotation policy.

Sachins Retirement does not matter
by silver mani on Feb 20, 2012 07:50 AM  | Hide replies

He has missed the right time for retirement ,that was after the WC.In the future ,He will always be remembered as a team member who was invoved in 2 Successive WhiteWashes .Now even if he retires today,History cannot be changed. He is the only one to blame by opting money over Grace. Many people are still writing that he should retire gracefully but my question is there any Grace Left??

Sehwag and Tendu should be dropped
by R A on Feb 20, 2012 07:44 AM

And new batsmen like Ajit or some other opener should be given chance...Sehwag and Tendu are only good for flat tracks in India vs WI etc.

hilfenhaus
by Tamil Indian on Feb 20, 2012 06:48 AM

couldnt understand ho this guy was left out - also couldnt understand how aussies coming into a game perform so well but Indians coming new perform so so always. For example Rohit, Raina, Yadav, Jadeja - none of them have performed well but this hilfenhaus guy plays in place of mckay and performs right away.

ok. Correct

I agree with Dhoni's comments. And he is very right with need of fiedling and all.

Only hope I have is that, he himself needs to look at his keeping. That run out of Wade, What was Dhoni thinking? A basic rule of keeping that he should be standing behind the stump when throw comes..

agreed with your thoughts I don't understand why Dhoni's is revealing such sensitive information to the media, it is certainly going to divide the players in the dressing room. Dhoni himself missed few run-out opportunities in yesterday's match.
