INDIA WAS NOT HAPLESS OR UNLUCKY BUT UNPREPARED.
by kallol paul on Feb 19, 2012 07:10 PM

They have not still got it in their grid how to tackle things in different conditions (faster pitches).Their adjustment abilities are very poor. They play out of knack/prejudices rather than dealing with ground situations.

Its just a case of not spending much time on ground.

Same is the case with Government of India. They are not in touch with ground realities. Problems and prospects do exist at ground levels.Else look at low voter turnout people will loose faith in unsmart, inflexible, unwise arrogant system.May be its cricket , state-centre relations. BJP-Cong Tussle or any other such conflict.Just we need to FOCUS n shelve out our prejudices in this changing environment or time.

Wrote Long so that correlations are understood.

If not taken care we will again get enslaved to newer wisdom or forces. As we lost our independence to steam engine.

Its not about luck but willingness to incorporate and Implement.

We need the energy to do so.

Re: Future of Indian cricket after the exit of Sachin and Sehwag

No, we have flat pitch matches till the end of 2013. So, we will move up to #2 or #1 again. Everyone including Ishant Sharma will be heroes, all can bask in false glory!

I think we blundered today by not including a frontline spinner, either ashwin or rahul..

Plight of sachin
by sarkar on Feb 19, 2012 06:59 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin's misery is now reflected by different group of people.
1. Opposition bowlers have stopped celebrating much after getting out sachin.
2. Commentators have stopped using the term 'prized wicket' or 'prized scalp' for him.
3. No one is now talking about his bharat ratna.
4. Newspapers have stopped using the term 'batting genius' for him.
5. People, experts and even his team mates are daring to speak against him.
6. People of UP have preferred to go out and cast their votes rather than waiting for the 'mahashatak'.

Sir Car:

Three matches ago your list applied quite well for Dhoni too. So have patience instead of writing death sentences. :-)

Ahh Forget Sachin here comes Matthew Wade
by caeser b on Feb 19, 2012 06:57 PM  | Hide replies

What 2 Ripper catches at the end to dismiss Khan and Pathan.
Sensational Stuff from Wade.
Any other keeper would have just kept watching at the ball .
Also consider the situation that Australia were comfortably winning.
This shows their attitude and steely behaviour.
Hope our players learn something from it
