by ALLADI on Feb 19, 2012 09:42 PM

SACHIN,RAHUL and PONTING must take their retirement immediately, We cant understand why they, such great players, are digging their own GRAVE.They are not at all showing their greatness fag end of their career, They must understand they are now "40"

I respect Ponting for his realization that place in the squad isnt secured for whatever historic achievements he helped the team achieve.
Sehwag and Sachin can take note! Indian team cricket team should not suffer at the intransigence of these old legends!

sachin will play till he is 60 years if allowed to do so. He like his mentor Gavaskar are don't even leave a single penny. Gavaskar won't leave his commentator job at any cost, same with sachin. And Sachin is so big in India, that selectors are not ready to confront him fearing backlash from sentimental public. But they should focus on their job and start grooming and giving youngsters a chance if they want to see a good future for Indian cricket. Sachin should also remember that had a senior player not retired, he would not have got a chance to play for the country at such a young age. He should realize that there maybe another Sachin waiting for an oppurtunity and should retire gracefully instead of playing for records and money. He is so unfit that he has to rest every 2 matches to be ready for next match. Its time he realises his body is not like it was 20 years back

As an indian fan, i am so glad ponting is still around. He is bad omen for australia, only warne mcgrath and gilly could reverse his bad influence.
As soon sa he becomes captain look what happened, sri lanka got a bonus point. I hope australia make him captain one more time

This is not good to say with very professional player like Ricky Ponting, Forms and Flops are the two side of the coin, now sure it is bad patch with Ponting, but one should not forget if he get one good inning under his belt than he is more dangerous batsman than anyother in the world. If the selector appointed him as a captain once again, it means that the Australia bord has much more hope same as we have hope in sachin's batting even though he is worthless at the movement.

indian bowling revives careers, records, hopes of so many out of form players and even current players..
