Dump and discard non performers....
by K Ram on Feb 17, 2012 09:59 PM  | Hide replies

Waste Fellows in this team whose poor performance is covered up under some better performance of others :
1. Ravi Jadeja : 58 runsfrom 4 matches at an average of 19 and 1 wkt @ 190 runs with an economy of 6 R.P.O
2. S.K. Raina : 74 runs @ 18.5
3. R.G. Sharma : 79 runs from 4 matches @ 19 runs average
4. V. Sehwag : 30 from 2 @ 15
5. SRT : 65 from 3 @ 21.6
6. Praveen Kumar : No wickets yet

Why are we still playing these people in spite of their repeated failures? Haven't we learnt any lesson from the test matches? What are we doing with the Tiwary's, Rahanes and Pathans? Wake up selectors and the team management! Dump and discard the non performers please....

I fully agree with you Ram Ji. Pathan is already in the playing 11. Tiwary is most deserving, having hit a century last time around. Rahane as been given chances, but not able to perform according to his potential. They shud hv tried Uthappa as an opener.

What you have missed is the runs saved by the first three players mentioned. All the three are fantastic fielders and many senior cricketers even felt Jadeja as best in the world at present in his fielding position.I am sure India won their last two matches only by restricting the opposition in final overs due to excellent fielding. In ODIs fielding is equally important as batting and bowling. You field Dravid, Laxman and Zaheer in their position I am sure opposition would score 400 plus runs in each match. In the case of Praveen I agree that he is not useful abroad and must be replaced by Varun Aron when the latter becomes fit to bowl.

Hey Mr., you don't understand cricket. Sourav is a prince wherever he is. You will be lot more disappointed to see him in action in IPL for Pune Warriors.

As an indian fan, i am so glad ponting is still around. He is bad omen for australia, only warne mcgrath and gilly could reverse his bad influence.
As soon sa he becomes captain look what happened, sri lanka got a bonus point. I hope australia make him captain one more time
