As an indian fan, i am so glad ponting is still around. He is bad omen for australia, only warne mcgrath and gilly could reverse his bad influence. As soon sa he becomes captain look what happened, sri lanka got a bonus point. I hope australia make him captain one more time

All excricket players or in fact all players don't make gr8 administration/mgt team..its a diff talent..So no not all be players necesarily..but yeah ea players involvement is certainly good idea...
Common .. he is the one who played out at most low Scoring rate in the final only to make sure Rajasthan win on 1st innings total..if the attitude itself is of not going for outright win how will teams fare well in tests.. Ranji Trophy Final should only be given to a team if they win outright.. if there is a draw both teams win the trophy.. this will ensure both teams try hard for a win bringing in some innovative batting and bowling...

people in India will follow cricket and the pathetic circus called IPL. World cup win was a big fluke. Can guarantee 2015 world cup india nor pakistan will win. Cause its in Australia. And all the tingus and oldies will be gone. My prediction quarterfinals india will be out.

Let pak win first ODI in current series first..they lost 2 in row against eng so far...
Where is the will to win if you get 60 % on first innings lead .Win should give more points so First innings lead lead team 2 points and loser one point . focus on win rather than first innings.
Pls. move the Ranji matches from Quarterfinals onwards to foreign tracks like (Australia, SA, Eng & NZ). Only then our local talents will have a exposure. At lest the future young generation will know to handle pace, swing, bounce.
