Re: Watch cricket ..

SRK movie has an end and a message. But this sport is preset. I wouldn't pay a paisa to watch this game.
I saw some comments about world cup fixed etc on this same REDIFF forum ,when India lost test series 4-0 to Australia ,being a true Cricket fan I was hurt by the comments --- well India has won one Match against SRILANKA and another ended up as a TIE both the TIE MATCH and World Cup Final at Mumbai DHONI has struck 6 runs at crucial times Infact three times so far --- world cup final against Aust against Sri Lanka
This should put rest to Rumours and propaganda We do not need any PROOF than this anymore
Aaj Talk reporters just uncovered secret deal between Dhoni and IMHH (All India Medical Heart Hospitals Associatin) of 200 crores. Looks like the ploy is working as the association has reported that since last three days they have seen an increase of 30% newly patients admitted, which is an all time record. They expect the trend to continue in coming weeks....
I looked at the scorecard and saw the batting SRs of these and only Dhoni and Gambhir were above 85. The rest of the team averaged about 60-65, which is too slow and can build up pressure for the lower order to finish the game off.
The pressure on the middle and top order batting was shot selection, but taking too many singles, you increase the chances of a bad call as Dhoni admits to have done
The chase needs to be smooth and even if you have to make sure wickets dont fall in quick succession to take a swipe to maintain a good run rate throughout the chase.

haha.. This is exactly the problem many out here, just look at the stats and become o judgementive and know it all about cricket.
Please look at the way Dhoni scored. He picked up in last couple overs and that helped his evetual strike rate. This is exactly what he did in his last game as well. Also look at how many dot ball he played.
Hail!! the most lucky cricketer Raina who has been given many chances since a long time inspite of poor record till date. My sympathies to greatest batsmen in domestic cricket Rahane,Pujara,Saha,Mukund.
I am waiting for the day he will be dropped permanently in ODI,Test schemes. He is and will remain as T20 player

Also, its time team india, selection committee that Rohit is all about hype, recommendation at the expense of proven performers in domestic cricket like Rahane,Pujara etc
We are back to our regular form and have emerged as the clear favorite to win the tri-series. To all doubters and nay sayers that trashed Dhoni and his teammates -- get a life. We are the world champions. We also reign in T20 and we were ranked at top in test. With England being destroyed by Pakistan, we will climb to number 1 again after one or two home series.

Simple because a team can have only 4 overseas players and 7 Indian players. If there is no cap on overseas players, Jadeja would be only worth for $ 5000.
1. Sachin Tendulkar (VS Australia) or Sewhag (VS Sri Lanka). 2. Gautham Gambhir. 3. Virat Kohli (Aus) or Rohit Sharma (Sri Lanka).. 4. Suresh Raina (Aus) or Manoj Tiwari (Sri Lanka). 5. Ravindra Jadeja. 6. M.S.Dhoni. 7. Irfan Pathan. 8. R.Ashwin. 9. Vinay Kumar. 10. Rahul Sharma. 11. Umesh Yadhav. If Players are rotated based on the opposition and kind of pitches and not just for the sake of just roatation, this Indian team can win most of the matches against both Sri Lanka and Australia. Sewhag should not be exposed against Australia (at least in Australian Pitches). If 5 main line bowlers are selected, India can contain the opposition/have more flexibility, provided the batsman at the top does not play rash shots, particularly against the Australians. It’s the singles that wins ODI matches. If, Kohli, Raina and Jadeja are playing at the top bewtween the 20th and 40th Overs, where more singles can be taken, India can definitely win at ease rather than boiling it up to the end as in the last two matches which is unnecessary.
