LAZING WITH A 5000 RUPEE BOTTLE OF WATER, SPECIALLY PACKED AT SWISS ALPS...FOR THESE 2...
TWO HUNDRED MILLION OTHERS... BARELY GOT THE DIRTIEST WATER ON THE PLANET NOT JUST TO DRINK, BUT ALSO SAME, TO USE FOR A TINY MAL NOURISHED BABYz BATH,
how about the exceptions made last year for Mumbai Indians, also rotation of key players seems stalled at the behest of Mumbai Indians owners, double standards of BCCI.
both are typical indian business company..look for profits when there is greener pasture and exit when its dark..
sahara first came into existence in cricket with a promotional tournament between ind and pak in canada called sahara cup..those days, money was not big in indian cricket so the bcci had to accept what ever fee sahara pays them..sicne it was a huge success, sahara waited for the match fixing controversy to get over in 2000 and once azzu was axed and dada was given captaincy, they thought it was the right time to invest and becme full time sponsor..those days, any victory for india against any team was an achievement..and the indo aus series of 2001 really set the tone for the expansion and continuation of sahara in a big way.
with the world cup already won, which was a huge bonus, sahara should have quit at that point of time itself..but, they were greed and wanted to dominate indian cricket..unfortunately, india lost badly to both aus and eng..and with the kind of criticism we are seeing, sahara thought its no more beneficial to them to invest in a declining indian cricket than a flourishing indian cricket..now that they have gone, they have ventured into hockey, which is showing steady progress..their sponsorship will continue till the olympics, which is what they were targeting since its like a cricket world cup..now if india fails in olympics, am sure sahara will withdraw from hockey as well..
so y trust a business motive company rather than bcci..

It has made enough money at the cost of fans and crazy public, high time they respect Sahara for their decade long support. Cricket cannot survive long with old wine rules !
