Sachin shid play or not..will not make any difference
by Truth on Feb 10, 2012 10:27 AM  | Hide replies

why gawaskar open his mouth only when sachin scored 48 and saying he is in good touch and shud play all the matches. where was he when he scored 2 runs agst aus. Media and veteran cricketers only highlighted his success and others failure. Some Sachin fanatic presenting statistic of sehwag…agree he is not as good as Sachin in foreign pitches, but whatever india have won the matches in india it’s 90% bcos of Sehwag. In contrast sachin’s average in india and overseas is consistent and read good but that don’t resulted into winning cause. That don’t make any impact on teams success. India’s failure in recent overseas matches can tag to Sehwag, Dravid and Lakshman’s failure. They fail to contribute. Sachins success or failure dosent make any difference, which experience in 2003-04 sereis agst aus where india overpower mighty aus. despite sachins lack of contributions.

:) So you are free to "decide" that India win because of Sehwag, but if others feel same about Sachin you feel hurt? :)

yes...fact says...Tell me one game either in india or abroad where Sachin led single handedly india to victory or forced to draw …like sehwags 201 inn Galle test, Lakhmans 281, Dravids, 232 and 92 in adelede test, ganguly’s inspirational 144 in Brisbane. i m sure u dont have answer

There is nothing like single handedly in cricket. Watever scores u mentioned were a reason of multiple partnerships of which i m sure Sachin was a major partner.
And in 99 centuries of sachin u think none was winning cause, guess u need a specialist. But a very rare one who cud infuse some c sense in u.

Ganguly scoring 144 against Australia to save match….

Fact is bowlers were Gillespie MacGill ,bracken, Waugh ,Katich
No Macgrath Lee or Warne.

1 st day ----- Match started late due to rain on ended early bad light. Two rain interruptions in between
2 nd day ------ Match started late due to bad weather on ended early bad light. Good interruptions in between.
3 rd day ------ half an hour play due to bad light and rain
4 th day ------ play ended early Ganguly scored century at tea in conditions it was clear can not be played for result.
5 th day ----- play started late ended as draw with mutual consent of captains.

How this can be match saving innings when everybody knew that there wont be result. Indian first inning ended on fifth day

Laxmans 281 did it alone won the match ?

Dravid 181 runs
Harbhajan 13 wickets
Harbhajan again did the major damage, and Tendulkar, bowling leg-spin, took three wickets, including the crucial ones of Hayden and Gilchrist - for a king pair. Australia were all out in the 69th over and their record run of Test wins had come to an abrupt and spectacular halt.

@sanjaay don’t give me bawlers statistic..we r not here to discuss abt bawler. How lakhman can take 13 wkt? As well. Whenever there is comparision betn bawler then I ll definitely bring bhajji’s 13 wkt. U r presenting score card where Sachin scored 100 and 50 against aus…out of 311 inning u found only this inning along with 111 agst SA and he didn’t even score 50% of total innings…he was just top scorer of the inning just like any other average batsman…sometime harbhajan ashwin honored with top scorer these inning never boost team moral. As far as Lakshman’s inning he scored 281 not 116 or 111..and there is 101 difference betn Lakhman’s and dravid score. Aus forced follow on and leading with big margin..india lost 3 wkt within 100 in 2nd inning. In this process Lakshman have to cross lead and then set up a target to ensure india able to bowl aus. within short time and Bhajji’s magic did icing on the cake. Those inning u mentioned above r not even comparable to lakshmans 167 out of 261 in Sydney where he contribute 64% let it alone 281, sehvags’ 201, dravid’s 232 & 92 not out.

sehwag/gambhir...
by arvin g on Feb 10, 2012 09:49 AM

should be dropped and not rested ... let sachin open inning with some1 young and hungry for success rather than with loud mouth flop galli cricketer sehwag and out of form traitor gambhir whom faked injury during england tour to rest and serve his ipl masters...
sehwag can play in gallis of najafgarh the way he likes and gambhir can go practice for ipl... these two useless creatures should be permanently dropped...
