The match was fixed because Sri-lanka should have won the match. But their field placement became defensive and their choice of bowlers were also odd. The world cup final was also fixed like this but i guess the board is in financial trouble, so they have to make india happy. This is the only way India can win. Otherwise the results are there for everyone to see.

Pooja, so even the test matches vs Aus were fixed. BCCI advised Dhoni to set a defensive field and allowed Aussies to score. Right?

FOR YOUR INFORMATION YOU HAVE NOT STUDIED STASTICS INDIA TEAM WAS GOOD TILL THE S.GANUGLY WHEN THE IPL IS STARTED THE INDIAN TEAM IS COMPLETELY CHANGED. WHEN THE GAVASKAR,KAPIL,SHASTRI THEY WON THE MATCH IN OVERSEAS SEE NOW .GANGULY WON THE MATCH IN THE OVERSEAS .YOU KNOW ALL THE THINGS ABOUT THE CRICKET WHY YOU ARE WATCHING IT IS VICE VERSA
Dhoni, dont be so happy with this win as its not a authority stamped or worthy win. Its just that Srilanka bad bowling(short, wide etc) and made our batsmen click and their bad batting made us our bowlers click.
You will know what cricket is all about when you play Australia in next ODI. Because Ben and Pattison are back in the squad
dhoni the most useless player team hs ever seen oversees. even bowlers bat better thn him. he is in team jst bcz of captaincy, the day captaincy wl go, dhoni wl be kicked out in next series. useless fellow always bats in asia.Dhoni n bowlers batting average outside subcontinent In WI 2006, 24, kumble 26.6 In AUS 2007, 17.62, kumble 30, harbhajan 23 In WI 2011, 19.4, harbhajan 24.5 In Aus 2012, 20 , ashwin 32.6
EVEN BOWLERS HAVE PERFORMED BETTER THAN USELESS DHONI. NO CENTURY IN 7 YEARS OVERSEES AFTER PLAYING MORE THAN 100 INNINGS.
The way dhoni hs been playing for last 7 years, it seems he wl retire without scoring century overseas. Such a useless batsman he is.
here is the average of Dhoni’s ODI performance oversees
WI 2006- 23.75 SA 2006- 34.75 WC 2007- 09.66 Ireland 2007- 14 Eng 2007- 25 SA 2009- 03 SA 2011- 15 AUS 2012- 16.5
this proves that dhoni is a useless batsman oversees.

he is the only captain in the history of cricket world who won t20 wc, one day wc & no 1 test team. he is a fighter 2nd inning hero like yuraj, robin, kaif , dravid ganguly not like sachin sahwag azar, who has only stats on their hands. he won wc for country & gifted to great sachin after 20 yrs, sachin tried 20 yrs but failed. see the records of others also there role in not only scoring runs but also win for india.

it doesnt matter how many runs u score, the thing matter is r u winning the match or not. a single run is useful if country wins & a 100 is waste if loss

its very easy to turn gears of tongue as per the wind, but support team in bad situation is very imp, thats the difference betn a good cricket lover & a bad critic. it happens with every team even with aussie but now they have started again doing well

even some of the Gods have such great records becuase 70% of the matches were in batting friendly conditions and weaker oppositions. so for a wicketkeeper it is fine.

Well said Krishna, Dhoni's 15 runs avg in SA (2009) and 19.4 vs West Indies (overall) is fine for a wicket keeper :) Unfortunately for u, Dhoni is called a batsman. If u observed, Aswhin scored more than Dhoni in this test series vs Aus. Is that ok for for a wicketkeeper too? :)
No wonder we keep losing because he has now admitted that losses don't bother him. Which person smiles when he loses? As long as Dhoni hers his money everything is ok.

It was sensible batting by Jadeja and Ashwin and of course the Sri Lankan captain's poor decision not to bring Malinga when India was 181/6, that let the two batsmen go easy and settle down.
