Why Indians cant produce pacers
by cr srinivas on Feb 07, 2012 01:54 PM  | Hide replies

Even though i am Fan of India,I feel pity that Pakistan able to produce Pacers even though they lost pacers like Shoaib Akthar,Mohamad Asif and Mohamad Amir. Now Umur gul able to bowl speed around 140 to 145kph.India didn't produced single pacer who can consistantly bowls 140 to 150.This is very bad for India. There is no guanine faster bowler in India now, All are Fast Spinners. All Indian pacers are bowling speed less than Kumble's Speed.

that is a curse for india.. after kapil.. may be sreenath.. then nehra bowled 140 when he was young and fit and new to team,, agarkar bowled 140 everytime he played... He produced lot of miracles in foreign pitches.. At that time Zaheer used to bowl in 140s.. Now the people like vinay made fast bowling look like this..

Kapil Dev was a swing bowler who I am sure wouldnt have crossed even 135 k/h through out his career!!

He was a good bowler nevertheless irrespective of the speed..

Coz pitches are made to suit,Bhishan,Bhajji,Sehwag,Kumble,Prassanna, and so on.India produces only Dancing bowler who bowls while dancing and take wickets LBW.It is fault of BCCI.

Mr.srinivas what u r telling. Umesh yadav in australia has consistenly at 145-150.1ks and I shant sharma has clocked a delivery at 152ks and u r telling India doesn't have any bowlers who can bowl at this speed. please carefully watch the bowling speed after every delivery or you watch any of the videos of the recently concluded test series. Please check before you comment. Really i feel pity and yesterday Guls fastest ball was only 144ks and everybody he is a capable bowler who can hit the mid 140s.

Its all about Pitches and Condition
by cr srinivas on Feb 07, 2012 01:47 PM  | Hide replies

As sub-continent Teams struggle in seaming and moving conditions,England struggled in spin track. The Batsmen who failed in this tour, again they will come back to form if playing condition changes. For India, till coming September no Tests and after that all Tests are played in India only, Again our Greats will score tons and every one forget the Australia Series and everyone start praising Indian Team.In present scenario,All Test playing nations are vulnerable. In coming years, No team will dominate the Tests for long time, As West indies did it in 1970s and 80s and Australia did it from 1995-2007.

Exactly, how will decide number one test team because teams like england ,south africa,W I ,struggle on turnig tracks in subcontients and teams like india,SL,PAK are strugle in pacey wickets.there is no proper critaria to decide no one test team.every team has good home records except team australia during year 2000 to 2003 when they won 17 testin the captancy of great steve waugh.

England deserved to be no 1

For those who say "see, even england lost overseas". England grabbed #1 title by defeating Australia in Australia and WI in WI. Also, considering our team didn't even win the series 3-0 at home against WI, I am sure team India is definitely in terrible form, and its not just a matter or "one or two" bad series.

when west indies tour india few months back, our indian team couldnt produce the same result though they were having a powerful batting line up and good spin bowlers and it hurts the most when one look at the west indies team, they manage to draw 2 tests and lost only 1 test.
so looking at the above england team is much much better than west indies and i dont think india can do a similar whitewash like pak.

the series 3-0 mainly due to their spin duo but i dont think they can take as many wickets when they tour aus or south africa or england.their batting is not that great as one can see they bowled out for 99 in the first innings.but yes one cannot take away the credit from them for the outcome 3-0 which was for the first time!!!!!
