Good suggestions from Ganguly. But I am not for replacing Raina with Tiwary. Raina is a good player in ODI & T20. I would prefer Sachin being replaced (when he retires) with Rahane or Tiwary.

With CA if we can win - we will play 15 players against their eleven .It is likely still we will lose . When is the next xirxus called IPL n -th starting the publci is hungry to see mix match teams .
actually dada is the greatest thinker of this game and at this time what he is suggesting is perfect for the team. behind irfan, he has lots of match winning performance. while other all rounder like p kumar or v. kumar they don't seems to be match winner . they must try pathan and tiwari.don't discourage such players by left them out and see India's losses.

Dhoni's vision has been blunted, Moreover the difference with Sehwag is also proving costly. Sehwag appears a contender to replace him from captaincy.

yeah right... irfan pathan has a bunch of match-winning performances and PK does not have that many. lets wake up from our dream now, shall we?
We never received advice from every passing commentator when we were captain of the side, remember? We even stuck on to a walking wicket Dinesh Mongia instead of VVS Laxman for a world cup, remember? And the biggest coup that we pulled off was to suggest Greg Chappell as coach, remember? And we were still a very successful captain, remember? So, why do we want to give our 'expert advice' to the current captain who might even know a thing or two about winning one, maybe even two world cups?
But the fact about Dhoni and the current selectors is that they don't use their brain and players like Gambhir, Raina, Sehwag can only play on flat dead tracks. It is just ridiculous with the amount of spinners that they went to in the first ODI. What are they thinking seriously???? It is time that India starts looking for pacers rather than depending heavily on spinners. Ashwin has to lose that he is a great bowler attitude big time!! As many people have commented here, India should have both seamy and flat dead tracks so that bowlers can grow on seamy pitches and the players can entertain the crowd on flat dead tracks for IPL.
