dhoni needs to keep top order seperate from middle-order bat
by D S on Feb 05, 2012 11:36 PM

the top-order flopped first. why is he scared to say much about top order. We need gambhir to be rotated out. get sehwag back for gambhir and tendulkar gets a chance before he is rotated out.

the rotation of players and strike should happen. bigger score by top order is with the new ball, it has higher value.

middle-order selection should not be mixed with top order. rahane is in lineup for top-order in case tendulkar does not strike form.

Sachin should feel ashmed.........

Don't Sachin at time feels ashamed of his performance i.e. he does not perform for about 20matches and then a century, which again fectches him place in team for another 20matches. I thik given chance like this any one can hit 100 centruies for 20 years. Is he waiting for his son to inherit his place in team India.

y not d/l method adopted?
a 50 over match reduced to 32 n ausis had already batted 11 overs. so in short, ausi had to score max runs in just 21 overs instead of 39. then y didnt ausi get the advantage of rain in d/l method? target for ind shud hv been increased by d/l method. but itwasnt done. y this cola very D?

It is because of this disadvantage for Australia that Tendulkar, the gentleman that he is, decided to get the lowest strike rate amongst Indian batsmen. Great sportsman spirit.

Ok guys,Tendya has decided to get himself out cheaply to McKay
by cc man on Feb 05, 2012 10:49 PM  | Hide replies

Ok guys,Tendya has decided to get himself out cheaply to unknown bowler McKay next game. He already stuck to his protocol ( handing over his wicket to every playing bowler especially cheaply to new comers, part time, left hand, unpopular bowlers) by handing over his wicket to McStac in first ODI. Meantime, he is going through the bowler list from Sri lanka to find out new comers, left handers, part timers etc and planning thereby on how to hand over his wicket

i agree. he has habit of gifting his wkt to new bowlers. n in the process gvs unnecessary limelight to that newcomer. list is endless.

By the same token, you have to grant that he is the greatest batsman ever to have played cricket - i.e. deciding when and who to gift his wicket to.
It appears that great bowlers can't seem to take his wicket and the opponents only get him out when he decides to gift it to newcomers... is that what you are telling us?

CC Man:

Excellent point.

It is impossible for great bowlers to get him out till he "decides" to give his wicket away... ;-)

Tests - Ishant,ODI - Raina
by cc man on Feb 05, 2012 10:45 PM

These two players get selected repeatedly in respective formats inspite of poor past record. See,the dismissal of Raina. Still he gets out to short stuff.
