pitiable performance

my request to indians rediff reader atleast is , dont watch the IPL circus live or on tv , it wil result in huge losses to our BCCI bosses , that wil atleast spur them to create fast and bouncy result oriented pitches, otherwise if they cannot do that , atleast let them take a vow not to send any indian cricket team to england or australia, as an indian i cannot stomache seeing this horrible performance everytime, let us atleast remain paper tigers, and local heroes , so that by going abroad and exposing our weekness lets not puncture that imaginary baloon of wellness with our cricket.

Excellent point!!! Hope your statement gets into some People's brain!!!
I really don't see the fact why Dhoni and his co went into the match with so many spinners. I guess he is hoping for flat dead pitches like in India.

Well, to give reasons for loss. For T20 loss, he attributed to rain. Now, spinners

Celebrity Cricket Leagure bow lot better then our bowlers
by cc man on Feb 06, 2012 04:11 AM

Watched CCL matches yesterday and noticed the bowlers in this leagure bowl consistenly lot better than our bowlers like Ashwin,Jadega,Praveen kumar,Ishant sharma,Zaheer etc. All these league bowlers have been bowling with seam, variations, brain, bounce, swing but not with pace though

Gambhir is lucky to be playing inspite of failures in Eng,Aus
by cc man on Feb 06, 2012 01:42 AM  | Hide replies

Gambhir has been lucky to be playing inspite of repeated failures in Eng,WI and now in AUS.

This guy needs to be dropped. Just like Viru, this guy cannot play outside subcontinent

entire teams selection is based on cartel politics and not the necessity to develop talent.
it is to slam talent if he does not lick upto cartel quite like indian politics.

Both Gambhir and Sehwag are horrible openers who will score only on flat dead tracks.
Gambhir is like a sitting duck to bouncers and the latter has that careless attitude and horrible footwork and can't run to catch a ball with his belly.

politics again,

hoow many chances have they given to gambhir and kohli, because they eat shyteee of dhoni everyday.

all the test series was given to gambhir and kohli and the privileged seniors.

DO INDIANS HAVE SHORT MEMORIES.

LET SOMEONE PEOPLE get cCancer rather than Yuvraj. YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE REFERRING.

Its high time Tendya is dropped so that he comes back stronger
by cc man on Feb 06, 2012 01:14 AM  | Hide replies

Its high time Tendya is dropped so that he comes back stronger. This guy is taking his place for granted in the team. At this juncture of his career, he cannot be inconsistent and has to perform when needed otherwise there is no point in retaining him in playing eleven at the expense of buddying youngsters. Atleast youngster will learn something

If he is dropped then someone younger and better will make it. Then he will not be able to get in again especially if India starts winning again. How many players told that they wanted to gift the world cup to Sachin. They thought he would quit once he gets the world cup but they were fooled. Now is it not time that Sachin gifts the next world cup to youngsters?

What sick opinions
by Shishir Singh on Feb 06, 2012 01:10 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin was playing his first one day game since WC. He has had fantastic run of form in the WC. In australia, he is the one whose feet are moving properly. He didnt throw his wicket but got out on a proper cricketing shot with a splendid bit of fielding by his aussie counterpart. He is getting the runs, so, is this ODI series over already? Wake up sadists.

It does not matter if Sachin is going to get a triple century, it is high time he quit cricket in all forms keeping in mind India's future. Anyway, we are not winning with him. It is hightime he should be known as golden oldie.

It does not matter that Australia are winning. They should stop playing cricket immediately and make SriLanka and India play the finals of tri-series?

Wonderful news... THAT'S the kind of logic I like the most on this forum... :)

something happened after the rain to the psychology of bowlers.
another flop show was top order batting and dhoni is scared to talk about them.

dhoni should not mix top order with middle to avoid ...

when in tests, sachin fails, blame it on openers who didnt score enough runs on board, to save sachin from failure.

when in odi, being an opener, sachin fails to score, then the excuse is what the other 10 ppl do to perform?

Vinay:

You expect others to blame him in one of the situations....

Which implies that YOU should NOT blame him in one of these situations either... :)

Your argument is that his fans are fanatics by supporting him in both situations. What about YOU who blames him in both situations? Aren't you being a fanatic as well? :)

he also had the lowest strike rate today. Whatever it is he better quit, we want to groom younger players. Don't understand why Dhoni is scared of asking the team he wants.
