The best thing that can happen in India is for IPL to fail, and other sports to improve and i wish advertisers should show more hope and develop other sports. Cricket by itself is not so intresting as a world cup fotball match.... or a leauge match.. in other parts of the world.. The game is boring....mostly boring when we batsman closing eyes and slogging and the poor bowler looks like an Idiot....IPL was best when it was in South africa. I wish we play cricket on Australian and South African, English grounds where the ball does more than the Bat. A batsman should think thrice before slogging... Then it would be intresting...

LEAST BOTHERED ABOUT TEAM INDIA OR DEVELOPING THE GAME JUST MONEY MINTING CORRUPT OFFICIALS INTERESTED IN THE TAMASHA IPL.WHERE ARE YOUNG PLAYERS BEING GROOMED,WHERE ARE SPORTY PITCHES,NOT ONE GENUINE PACE BOWLER AMONG 1 BILLION PEOPLE ,. WHAT A SHAME

very true my friend.. I wud like to add on to it.. even on such flat decks or spin friendly tracks, there is no sign of another good young spinner coming on...
Actually now Dhoni, Tendulkar, Raina, Jadeja are all practicing for IPL matches in australia... That is the motivation they have now. Don't stop ipl. Otherwise they will forget playing cricket.
Does Gavaskar think that the 'twisted face' would have let any chance that earns billions go? The cancer-infested person will extract every paisa where he can.
We are all sick and tired of this IPL circus. We now know our players are not even comparable to B Teams of Aus & Eng. In football, EPL & other League Tournaments improves the skill of the players and you can see it when they play for their country. Our players are only good in slow, dry and dead pitches where the ball doesnt bounce even above waist height. We saw the drubbing of Indian players at MCG today. What a ground MCG is. Every cricketer would dream of scoring a century on such a ground. The pitches are fast and bouncy and it seems like true cricket. Not like the dusty dry pitches of Delhi. I remember VVS had scored 3 centuries in a week in Aus many years back. We need more class players like Sachin, Dravid, VVS, Yuvraj. IPL is giving us players like Ravindra Jadeja, who doesnt have class or style. Youngsters like Rohit Sharma & Kohli looks promising. But we need to make them play more outside India. We should remember, any Kambli can score 2 double hundreds in Indian subcontinent. True cricket is in countries like Eng & Aus
