Sehwag was omitted due to the rift between him and dhoni. Resting the seniors at the begining of the series was not justified while aiming victory, once we qualified for the finlas, if having remaining formal matchs, the bench players may be given a chance.otherwise if the seniors wasted their opportunities, remaining players were given a chance. In his last series sehwag's creates world record. he is a opener. how could Rohit replce sehwag? dhoni is trying to continue whitewash record in triseries also following the test series in England and Australia. Dhoni atleast spinners tried to bowl well 1. what did , the so called tendulkar did? 2.why is he not getting dropped even after the bad performance? 3.why is he important(100th hundred) more than the indian team? 4. why he is a hinderance to the youngsters who is sitting on the bench and trying to get a chance to perform? 5. we need an allrounder and PATHAN is a good all rounder and he can open batting at the top if needed ? why is he not getting chance?

rohit and sehwag have no equation. the equation should be between top order Gambhir, sehwag and tendulkar. we can allow tendulkar only one try . replace gambhir by sehwag. india spin centric attack is good, only good quality spin can give india an edge. dont go by videsh pumped media. All we need is good pacers to take advantage of pressure from spin, yadav or zaheer can be considered. vinay can be tried again. gambhir needs to be rested and sehwag be bought in.

Until ST likr 99 centurians are in team,not to win,but poortunity to make 100,in 1 lakh matches with indias defeat most of times,see pontings contribution in australis win,shame on such 99 centurians,such playesr mst be forcefully retired,whi cant bat and cant even field,burden on weak minded selctors and captain,just 1 century in 1 year and make burden on team ,rest year without playing,same thing sehwag and other many experienced palyers,how to fool indian cricket fans.

The thing ponting came to side when australia were on top and whenever he performs his team will also perform.. but in case of india if sachin fails then the whole team ll fail.. don forget that..
and will play more or less with same team of losers... coz useless likes of gambhir/jadeja/vinay kumars/ashwins can not be dropped due to their ipl price tag...

Apart from Vinay Kumar, Kohli & to an extent Rohit Sharma, none of the Indians (includes UR SACHIN) did anything to try for a victory.
To selectors, Dhoni & team: With each team playing 4 matches in the league, u would want to have a good start. Why would u start with resting ur 2 main bowlers who have done well (Zaheer & Yadav). One could be rested......

Someone with common sense wouldnt be playing 2 "fast" bowlers & 6 spinners (including part-timers) in Aussie pitches, specially Melbourne.
When u have won the toss (which is quite rare nowadays), u had a good option of batting first knowing how our batsmen r not in good form, and playing with only 2 pace bowlers......
When the going was a cakewalk, Dhoni was "promoted" up the order with an excuse that he came to avoid a mini-collapse since Rohit was dismissed for a duck. Why did he not come at 1-down?
