Surprising does he worth for 2 million dollars, forget about 2 million, he is not even worth for one million dollars.Chennai Super Kings are really crazy or may be publicity stunt, who is watching what and how much really players are being paid. If it is really true then the said money is enough for the rest of his life.What about Sachin, Sehwag,Dhoni?

agreed. he is paid more. but better than giving dhoni, sachin, sehwag who r not yet fed up of money yet playing for it n losing matches for ind. i wud better pay him than those overrated n overhyped g_o_d_s.

shows IPL has more sense than Indian selectors for using products lke laxaman, dravid and sewag that have gone well past their shelf life.

Dude, understand a fact. EVen without Laxman, Dravid & Sachin India has been playing cricket from decades..... India should NOW learn to play without them. We would like to see Kohli/Rohit Sharma/Rahane and other youngsters to come up to their level.
IPL is the root cause of all problems in indian cricket.See the record of last 4 years of indian matches just after IPL,india has mainly lost matches,most of them.Lost t20 world cup ,and so many tournaments which occured just after IPL, india has routinely lost in them in last 4 years..Now see the opposite, we won this year2011 world cup as it was before IPL.IPl has so many matches so it burdens them but they like to play it due to financial matters.See michael clarke, he did not play in Any IPL ,because he wanted to preserve his best for his country and now everyone knows his performance(although his form was not gud before this indian tour but u have to praise his commitment for national team).No senior retired cicketer like gvskar,shastri or anybody else would not critisize ipl because its earning them good money without any effort. So please boycott IPL and dont go to stadiums ,dont watch it, just hate it ,may be this will bring a change in BCCI cricket

rightly said jatin. but us indians r so optimistic abt cricket n politics that we can go ages in hope and no result.
It shows why we behind cricket, even though Seven nation game PAKISTAN AND SREE LANKA , they cannot enter any main stream game finales they need world cup??????????no other game , here we stupid Indians follow same game, here in cricket Laskhamn shoewd his quality in cricket ,but we no need quality we need Modi power , mwhen Indian can wake up???when we can think like a human being??
