t20 can be won or lost at any moment. But this T20 is lost by Dhoni & Ashwin. Team required more than 10 run per over & they are playing under 5 run per over. At end both made runs but match was already lost. Even in End their average is little more than 6. T20 is not a odi, that you lost 6 wickets & match is over. even ashwin was playing better than dhoni at one point of time in match. 8 runs in 19 ball & Gavaskar want him to bat up the order. When match is almost over, even oposition become carefree sometime.
Exclude Pathan becos he is 120-130 and just include Vinay Kumar who is or will soon be the fastest bowler in India. Board of Crazy crickets(keedey) in India
sometimes what he speaks it is difficult to understand if that is cricket. 8 test matches disaster batting what logic it is to continue with a tried,tested and failed. instead, we should look at youngsters like australia did with cowan and warner. why is india so reluctant to drop failed seniors ? regarding t20, we are playing with a odi team in t20, t20 needs real big hitters - we need uttappas,pathans but we have none.gavaskar logic defies what he is saying at one point he says get better fielders and other he says we must play sehwag more..no wonder esdpnstar did not retain him..we need young commentators too who are more tuned to the current game

Irfan pathan played well in T20 format, didnt find place in ODI.. he is perfect fit for T20 as a Bowling Allrounder..

His every word makes perfect sense...Is Uttappa,pathan(Y) are included in ODI or t20 itternery..?? HE is talking abt the present Indian squad in AUS...That squad was decided weeks back..Now if someone gets seriously injured or sick then as replacement uttappa or Y pathan can go to Aus, not otherwise...read the article positively u will find perfect logic in there...

just check the scores dude..t20 is bowlers nightmare, especially fast bowlers. except for spinners. medium pacers on both sides were hit, now if we add pathan in the mix, what logic is that. Had our spinners been able to grip the ball, we would have also bowled well.
I Pathan - Outdated out of pace bowler .Cant bowl more than 125Kmps .Guess even Agarkar bowls faster and better.Cant pick I Pathan only because he can bat.We need a bowler not a parttimer who can bat a bit. Y Pathan - Useless. Has got strength but of no use.No Technique.He would be made MAMU by the Aussie bowlers.
