other sports are not given importance in india by government and corporates because its mostly played by tribals which are lower castes...sports like hockey and football hve considerable representation of tribals who are physically stronger ..but government and corporates are totally ignoring these sports and giving importance to sport like cricket ..which is not even consider as a sport in most parts of the world...this is the main reason why india is suffering in other sports....government is not developing traditional sports like kabbaddi and khokho which requires more stamina...because its played by rural people...nd if these sports are uplifted it will benefit these people ..which the hypocrite upper class media dnt want..

Mr. Gavaskar seems to be very benevolent for Mr. I Pathan but the problem is Mr. I Pathan as all rounder may turn handy for opposition and not for his team!!!!
