Mike Hussy was gracious personified when he was playing IPL .a thorough professional to the boot unlike unlike you know who -selfishness personified blocking talented yougsters
Great batsmen, played honest cricket for Aussies. Look at the way they announce their retirement before hand. They play their last game gracefully before bidding goodbye. Very Gentlemanly way. What about our Indian players? Will they ever do so?

Some have to be booted out but our selectors are spineless so few linger on testing our patience!

and IF they play very well next match, the captain & coach is credited for "believing" and "persisting with him" :)

The issue is we have to be fair not only to those who have served us well but also to those waiting patiently in the wings. Other selectors mean business, they see the present result not what was. If one is serious, one can prove in Ranji matches to make a come back. We have to live in the present.

Hope Sachin "Never Retiring" Tendulkar took a leaf out of this guy's book. Oh Well..he's a typical Indian!

our cricketers neber give up so quickly in any form.....hahaha..wether train, job or cricket they want to fix thier position till they feel relaxed.
We Indian - an undeveloped country, barring corruption which has developed to the Himalayan heights, are very greedy. Even People with huge money do not know how to live and enjoy ,they take lot of pleasure accumulating wealth .kdd2e
Will Mr. Hussey continue to play in the money making event; the IPL ???
IPL is too tempting to quit...
Anyways, congrats to the true fighter of the game with a never say die attitude. He was one of the many unsung heroes for Australian cricket whose career was overshadowed by some of his illustrious peers just bcoz he ought to be playing this game when aussies were at their ruthless best and even supreme talent like Mr. Hussey could not find a place in the playing 11..
back home our master blaster can take a leaf out of Hussey's example and learn how to quit when one is in prime form and earn the respect of the fans for his entire life, rather than just dragging along and prompting the fans to ask the inevitable question : "When will he Quit???"
Hussey - 3 Centuries in his last 5 test matches and our GOD Tendulkar - No centuries in his last 15 or so test matches. Hussey retires on a high and with dignity and our poor GOD, still adamant to score an all elusive century before announcing his retirement.
