The biggest disappointment has been the inability of Rohit Sharma to perform with any consistency at the international level. He has the talent and ability to take over from Sachin Tendulkar. But over the past two years he has always failed. Someone needs to sit with him and talk things through. A Ravi Shastri, or Sunil Gavaskar .. or maybe Sachin Tendulkar himself. Rohit is too good a talent to be allowed to go waste.

Wonder this line of thinking - he has talent and ability but does not perform - it is like saying he is a brilliant student academically but fails is every subject.

He has talent but he comes down the order under pressure, If given a chance on top of the order, chances of performing are very high. After that he can be moved to lower order. Virat comes at position 4 where he gets time to settle down and then he starts playing his shot. Yesterday Rohit had a chance to settle down and show his talent but unfortunately he missed that.

What you will call first 10 overs of match yesterday, Wasn't that a misery? It was just a trailer of what we are going to see in 2015 world cup in Australia.
No doubt Sachin is an icon of this century and will remain forever. Now he should focus on Tests and get some more humdreds and even triple hundred which is evasive till now.
