Kohli should show some respect to great cricketers like Yuvraj. His behaviour in the direction of Yuvraj after the run-out was quite disrespectful, and un-called for. Gavaskar has recently been advocating the cause of Kohli as captain. That would be a huge mistake in the light of the temperament that was on show today - this isn't under-19 cricket anymore, we are talking of captaincy of India! Should Dhoni relinquish captaincy, Yuvraj deserves it more than anyone else in the shorter formats of the game.

kohli is arrogant needs mental help as this type of anger is no longer useful at this level of profession game learn how zahir khan ontrolled his anger and channelised his anger after he was shocked by chewing gum in england tour least bothered about about insult the britishers did zak made mirracle while bowling reverse swing how ever this tour of england zak failed miserably and instead of kicking out sachin dhoni and sehwag and gambhir the mad selectors sacked khan and son of sarder after kolkatta test lost the real master mind of mumbai test is rahane ajinkya dropped easies catches at wankhede his home ground just compare superman michel johnson scoring 92 knock and taking wickets in melborne test and sehwag dumping himself after ahamadbad test century mumbai kolkatta and nagpur sehawag did less than average performance except 49 knock so also gambhir run out smell spot fixing as gambhir home was raided by CBI immediately after gambhir scored 75 runs superb knock against parkistan at 2007 t20 final so it is high time to rest indian openers sehwag and ganbhir and ask wasim jafar and ashin to open test innings for test india i feel BCCI must make it performance all fields of game criteria for beeing in team like if a player like rahane drop easies catches the drop him for next test ask him to serve water for team at no. 13 not 12 so team as a group fail when some easies loolypop catches are dropped as in mumbai test and kolkatta test so fielding coach must pull ears of all?

Little bit of arrogancy is must for success, some show it others hide it. Kohli is no doubt a GEM for Indian Cricket now.
After winning toss, Pak should have batted in good conditions. Then the result would have been different. Hafeez - always bat like Australians after winning the toss.

If you don't know Gavaskar then it is very unfortunate. He was the legendary Indian Opener who faced the Best Balling attacks that to without Body guard that to in unfriendly pitches. I think you have brush up cricket history. I think he was a better batsman than Tendulkar.

New generation always think they know better than the old. Gavaskar and Kapil are the greatest cricketers of India. They are the pioneers to follow. Prior to them very few followed cricket. After them Indian Hockey dies,

Looks like you Belong to a very very old generation ....Cricket has changed...It is the same Gavaskar you are talking about who holds the world record in one day...for slowest innings ;-)

Gavaskar and Mohinder could handle the pace battery of Holding, Roberts, Marshall and Garner with grace. I doubt if today's heroes can stand to face the windies quartet.

I think problem is we idiolize anything and everything that is dramatized to us. Just look at the scorecard of ODI # 65035 on espn and give a thought one more time if Gavaskar is better than Tendulkar. Still if you think that Gavaskar was better I will respect your feelings and you could respect mine.

If you don't know Gavaskar, just search India-West Indies series in West Indies during 1970-71 tour. Gavaskar has played a Gem against the best bowling attach in a bouncy track without HELMET. If you go through that, then I'm sure you will understand.

gavaskar is a great batsman but very biased during his days towards mumbai players. preferred to take mumbai guys always and unlike now selelctions were hardly questioned those days

With all the respect to Gavaskar i just want to tell that he was a one dimensional batsman the base of whose batting was pure and solid techniques of defence. But if u compare him with Richards,Greenidge or Loyd the legends who played during his era we can see how many times they won matches for the WI team with the change of approach according to situations. They had good temparament for test cricket same time power hitters also.Gavaskar is best known for his match drawing efforts while players like Viv is known for match winning knocks.
what happenned to venkatesh prasad coached new 'pace' bowler buvaneshwar kumar today? Pitch not suitable!!! MORAL OF STORY: Even Veny Prasad was a MEGA-BOWLER on turning pitches, but was a MEGA-disaster otherwise. So media and fans should not shout from rooftops that a new superstar bowler has been unearthed based on just 4 overs bowling. He is promising no doubt but let's not put undue pressure on him.
Lost a winning match to draw the series-but one difference-looked like real contest -but the rash shots played by Akmal and co makes it questionable and obvious-thank you hafiz for all you are doing for raising fund for pcb

Yuvi was decent but Hafeez was a master class. He almost single handedly won the match for Pakistan. Yuvi was lucky that his running out Kohli did not play on his mind. On the contrary Hafeez was picture perfect calmness personified. India better watch out for him & Ajmal who is going to be a different kettle of fish once the ODI's begin.
