India have the great ability to provide opportunities to players who are out of form to create records against them. The team composition for the first T20 was wrong. India was one bowler short. What is the point of stuffing the middle and lower order with batsmen and allrounders when they do not perform? Praveen Kumar and Irfan Pathan are wily operators in T20. One of them should be drafted into the team. Virat Koli should be made T20 skipper after this series and MSD should be captain only in ODI's to better utilize his talents and from longevity perspective.
No One finds anything wrong with the Indian Coach? The moment he laid hands on the Indian team in March 2011, the downfall began and I think he has not contributed an iota to the upliftment of a team and acts as a silent spectator , effortlessly collecting the hefty monthly salary without shame at the behest of some political gambler at the helm of affairs
Though we lost, this kid did well. I liked his energy, his attitude, confidence and his smile. Havent seen such a zippy bowler in the Indian team for a while now. Hope he keeps his mind on the game and doesnt falter as few others have done. And, as per yesterday's bowling, he has to get few more chances at the highest level so that he is tested at the international level
Simply brilliant.First, the selectors need to be congratulated for having blooded the youngster like Bhuvanesh Kumar. Next. Dhoni needs all credit for having made the right choice in making him open the bowling attack.Finally Bhuvaneshwar Kumar himself deserves all credit for the splendid opening spell of swing bowling on dubut.Moral of the story ? Unless youngsters are given chance and opportunity how do you come to know the talent.This fellow certainly is one of the best find for long time especially on pace front.Now he needs nurturing along with other youngsters like Umesh Yadav, Varun Aron,Ishant,Dhinda, Parminder Awana, Fami Ahmed etc.Parvinder Awana although didn't have such fairy tale debut but he should be persisted with and given more chance to prove himself.Further,Selectors should not be in a hurry to bring back veterans like Zaheer , Bhajji etc. based on one performance.They should be watched for form and fitness for the entire Ranji seasons.
Indian team‘s problem has always been the non-availability of fourth & fifth quality bowler either in ODI’s or T-20’s which had cost us so many matches. The Best T-20 combination would be 1. Ajay Rahane. 2. Ambati Rayudu (W.K). 3. Virat Kohli (Vice Captain). 4. Suresh Raina. 5. Yuvraj Singh (Captain). 6. Yusuf Pathan or R.Jadeja. 7. Irfan Pathan or Praveen Kumar. 8. Ravichandran Ashwin. 9. Bhuvaneswar Kumar or Varun Aaron. 10. Umesh Yadhav or Ishant Sharma. 11. Pragyan Ojha or Rahul Sharma. Due to Dhoni’s wrong selection policy & useless captainship, India is loosing too many matches. Unless, Dhoni is sacked, Indian team will be ruined. Dhoni's useless helicopeter's an be tried at lanes of Jharkhand but not anymore in International cricket.
