Bhuvneshwar was super .. bring more new talent
by Arv Singh on Dec 26, 2012 12:26 AM  | Hide replies

I am impressed with Bhuvneshwar but still call for four changes:

* Fire Duncan Fletcher
* Replace Dhoni with Kohli as captain
* Bring back Harbhajan Singh
* Get more younger players in the team - Unmukt Chand, Jiwanjot Chauhan, Sandeep Sharma, Harmeet Singh, and Uday Kaul

hehe, Yes bring back Harbhajan along with Mandeep Singh , Gurkeerat Singh, Jiwanjot Singh, Inder Singh, Siddarth Kaul.

They all have performed so well over the last 2-3 years and they all should be in team India.

Also make Harbhajan singh captain of Test, ODI and T20 team and Yuvraj singh as vice captain.

Bhuwaneswar kumars a potential threat to Indian team
by lee on Dec 26, 2012 12:20 AM  | Hide replies

The new guy is a genuine swing intelligent bowler. But now he is a big threat to Zaheer, Avanna, Dinga etc, so from next match Dhoni will give him less chane and after that he will be rested due to some unknown injury andthe India will survive with their impotent bowlers.

Ishant's behavior was atrocious. Let him just concentrate on his bowling and try to impress with it. It was very, very nice to see our arch rivals back playing in our country again and his senseless behavior didn't go well with the mood. This was needless Ishant! `wish, u concentrate more on your bowling than on antics like this. You first learn to bowl 140 consistently and then do all this. No Indian would like this. Wish the board disciplines the players like Ishant fittingly and suitably. In contrast, pakistanis behaved well and were enjoying the occasion more. It's after all a game! You win some and lose some (read as, many on current form). Our team is in a transition phase and we're yet to find and settle with replacements for the retired stalwarts. In this process, we're bound to lose many. Let the fans and the media too have some patience and allow the selectors and board to experiment and find the right teams for all the formats. Let's no expect overnight miracles.

Gambhir is way too terrible in every aspect of cricket and one of the main reasons for India's bad performance of late.

Comparison between Gambhir and Inzamam:
1.Lazy Runners
2.Big occasion players(Remember Inzy for WC1992 and Gambhir for finals of T20W 2007 and WC 2011)
3.Both having their highest ODI scores at No:3 position
4.Both can shift gears(explosive or defensive) at will.

If we had one more Bhuvensh Kumar we sould have won the match! Our pace bowlers must get coaching and training from Bhuvnesh kumar the youngster pace bowler and learn how to bowl with accuracy and discipline, Dinda must be shown the door now Where are Pradep Kumar,Vijaykumar&sreesanth???! what a shame! If he had played against England in Test despite bad umpire slike aleem dar&dhrmasena wwe would have won the series too! Shame Dhoni used Khli as a bowler for 2 costly overs whcih cost us the match! shame,Dhoni

Gambhir really needs to be dropped on all formats. He needs to be given some break. Although, Dhoni is a joke as well.

Why would Dhoni come ahead of Raina in T20
by Mature Stud on Dec 25, 2012 11:33 PM  | Hide replies

Unfourtunate that he thinks himself as better batsman and he claims he needs time to settle in T20. And so he prefers to come up the order.

He is conviniently forgetting that all batsmen needs time to settle first but in T20 you don't have that luxury. ANd players like Raina, Yuvraj don't need much time to settle and much better strikers and batsmen then Dhoni..

Dhoni will always promote himself when he feels it is safe. He saw the decent start openers gave and saw Yvi launch a six right away, so thought the pitch will help him to glory

Not really, I think we wants to control the game. Take 1's and 2's while the other batsmen can go for the shots and in the death take more risks. But unfortunately it didn't work and we saw what happened after that, Indian team fell like a pack of cards.

I would not call it a thrashing. It could have gone either way. Dhoni always made the right call. This is T20 and each match is competitive unless you are playing a team like BD.
