MHS: Sachin has retired from ODIs. Maybe you will understand the meaning in about 13 months if you read the one page article daily for 9 hours each. ;-)
In the last one day sachin played he scored 52 runs against pakistan to help india chase down 330 while batting second. He is a still better than any other ODI batsman of India. He should have played at least one more match in this series for his millions of fans. Shame on BCCI that they haven't ask for it and it shows their approch towards a great player
BCCI should have forced him to retire. Also from tests. All that has happened is bargaining-he is allowed tests against Australia. I hope he scores well but in reality he may flop once again thereby blocking a vacancy.
Sachin is a fully fit physically even now than most youngsters. He is still a far better batsman than the so called younger lot. He is out of form and just that. Then why he is criticised so harshly? Because we have seen him saving the team from failures when all batsmen failed. He saved their skin..by single handedly winning such matches. The problem now is when he is failing the whole team is also failing and no match saver available to save Sachin. If the team has been winning nobody would have bothered Sachin's failure. AS others are also failing Sachin is castigated. If out of form batsman have to be removed Virender, Gautham, Dhoni etc all have to be removed. If age is the deciding factor they are not younger anymore. The criticism of Sachin's failure is so harsh that he had no other option...

in that sense let rahul dravid {who is undoubtebly indias best test batsman for last 2 decades}and vvs come out of retirement...lets not give chance to youngsters and keep on saying the old lot is betterthan young lot and thy shld go on playing...

Dear Prakash, I worte for siva not for you. He's just giving all lay excuses, most of which do not hold any ground.
lets face the facts.. till sunday morning he informed bcci that he is available for selection.. second he had promised a fanatic fan that he will arrange a flight ticket to chennai to see the first odi in chennai.. third there was so many days gap between the last one day international played and now being played.... why has he taken the decision on sunday and not earlier? the fact is bcci has clearly told him that he is not selected and they want to look to the future.. sachin had no other option but to retire.. this is a fact and now both bcci and sachin r denying the same..

Chew..tiya. Then accept that Sachin was being selected in the team for 24 years on pure merit. ROTFLMAO. Facts? ;-) BTW both Dravid and Laxman were kicked out by the same BCCI so no wonder Sachin met the same fate. LOL.

I think story is correct and Selctors must have told him that they can't stand more embarassment by selcting an old, out of form, weak legged, slow and non performer.
