Did anyone notice? Kohli scored a hundred & India lost a match against England & Australia. So can we conclude that when ever Kohli scores a century, India loses. I want to know how sachin's critics answer this. By the way, I mean no disrespect to Kohli, he's a good player.

india didn't lose to england, it was a draw .. ok ... he has scored 3 test centuries in which ... 1 india won against NZ, 1 lost against aus and one draw against England..

So lets say he scores 10 centuries in the next 2 or 3 years & India loses 5 of them, draws 1 & loses 4. Will people conclude that when ever he scores century, India loses. No! because people very well know its a team effort & how the bowlers contribute in a test match especially. But with Sachin, I don't know somehow all the logic goes away. People never give stat, never look at other people's contribution, but bluntly conclude that whenever he scores century, India loses.

Yes. We will have to bear the shameless Kohli and Pujara. Scoring shameless runs when we are losing. I ask you.
Sachin is retire in ODI but all people retire from watching the cricket. Hats of to Master Blaster. The Journey to becoming wonder boy to Master Blaster from 1989 to 2012 is phenomenal.

we may not see one more sachin for lifetime.. but i think we have seen enough of him.. time has come to say enough is enough.. right call at a wrong time.. should have called after world cup.. but better late than never.. still remember some good innings from sachin... Hope you will retire from test cricket on a high note..
for him as this will give him some chance of playing his 200th test match in africa.it wud be a gamble for him to play the pak n eng odis as if he dont perform he wud have been dropped for the australia test match.so its a right decision.
A solid performance in South Africa will be the best way to call it a day as without him Team India stands no chance against the world's best side. Sachin should enjoy his batting as Azhar did in his last few tests...Good luck, Sachin...
