A solid performance in South Africa will be the best way to call it a day as without him Team India stands no chance against the world's best side. Sachin should enjoy his batting as Azhar did in his last few tests...Good luck, Sachin...

all real cricket lovers would have liked that but there are few thousand barking dogz who would have continued with aimless barking about his retirement...
Sachin Should had played the one day series too against England and Pakistan and get retired by all formats of cricket. He should had atleast get a last chance to appear in the ODI's.Test matches are almost over for him by looking at the way he performed against England.

Ghalib:
:-).., perhaps Dravid and Laxman were also kicked out due to their pathetic performance. Perhaps every cricketer who retired was poor performer due to your perhaps low IQ. :-)

Exception not necessary as he has already completed his 100th 100. 200th is too far.
