All said & done, he was a very effortless batsman who made batting look so easy. Easily one of the most gifted batsmen. He would definitely rank among the greats. But for last couple of years his performance had slipped, he struggled to score runs and his age was catching up on him. It happens to everyone.Pity he did not retire as gracefully as he played like Rahul or even LAxman.Nevertheless,we take a bow for the pleasure he brought to all the cricket lovers of the country.
People only see at present ..no one could see past 23 years what had done. many times i switched off tv after his out..he is greatest of all greater in the world.

Abhi: Agree with you that Pujara and Kohli are 22-23. But the point lucyama raised is that they are blocking youngsters. ;-)
