Finally, Sachin bids goodbye! He should have done this at least 2 years back when he was going down on his form. May be he could have gained some browny points.
Secondly, he could have also given chances to scores to younger cricketers to take his place.
i play ranji for a state and i dont want to disclose any details, there are many like sachin who are just in indian team passing time insteatd of paying way for new comers. players who are non performerd should be axed at regular intervals for a healthy team. i'm happy sachin retired. no offences just my practical opinion

when sachin entered in team at just 16, he came just with his performance. Not waited for any body to retire . If you are in a queue for your seniors to retire, forgive me , we are not going to see your debut. Other fans' comments are ok. But you yourself are a cricketer. see his videos and learn. It is a pity in India.After all Gandhi is killed by an Indian.
I love cricket and am enthusiastic watching games where india is playing. Naturally, Indo-Pak cricket is a juicy fruit for people like me. However, i am dead against this series and call upon all my friends and countrymen to make this series such a flop that no government-however spineless like this one-dares to invite Pak for fear of heavy financial losses. This is because we have no pride, no concern for martyrs who die in the borders, the victims of train blasts, hijackings, 26/11 type genocides. Shame on us who call ourselves Hindustanis that we merrily buy tickets and fund a series with enemies who even disguised as spectators come in and plan attacks here. This government survives on minority votes and will sell our prestige and honor readily rather than be seen as anti-M by telling Pakistan to FO. therefore, just like the anna agitation and the recent agitation of common people against the gangrape, we need to not come out but STAY IN to ensure that the matches are played to empty seats. This is the very least we cricket lovers can do for the pride and prestige of Bharatmaa and out of respect for the saurabh kalias and common martyrs who die like flies in attacks such as 26/11 orchestrated and executed by Pakistan

May be not in the last few years but he certainly was the only reason in case of India winning a match or even coming close to it for almost one and a half decades.
