Shami Ahmed is a medium pacer from Bengal. We have already a Dinda in the team, one more from Calcutta. All vested interests. Despite superb performance in Srilanka, Irfan Pathan has been removed. BCCI dictates team to be selected and hence dont have any hope in selectors

Well, In Indian team, there are only slots for Batsmen, Wicket Keeper,Spinners,Swing bowlers, medium pacers. There are obviously no slots for slow bowlers like Irfan now. :-)

Yes shamim, Irfan is injured otherwise but dhoni tried hard by sidelining him for long time but after his consistent performance from CB series now he can be discardable till dhoni finds some puppets like use less Jadeja

8 years is too much buddy, we can understand your adulation to this LEGEND The Best Batsman in the history of the GAME. He is surely forced to retire and he is still not willing to otherwise he would have come out with press release statement announcing his retirement. His retirement is right but at least we would have seen one last one day match from this legend so that we can make fitting farewell to him.

He started his career at the age of 16, not 18.
