Dhoni can't be completely blamed
by thomas mathew on Dec 23, 2012 12:08 PM

Dhoni did his best as a batsman and wicket keeper ( except for an easy runout chance in the final overs ) and tried his best to utilize the third rate resources at his disposal . Yes, bowlers like Dinda and Awana are not of the class to bowl against International sides and our pacers by far are the worst among all cricket playing countries . We have few pacers like yadav and Zaheer who are 1 match play and 5 match injury types . Our selection team needs to be blamed for this and BCCI for their coaching of youngsters and their physical fitness . can't blame dhoni for everything .

Morgan
by Guest on Dec 23, 2012 12:03 PM

I had already predicted Eoin Morgan will win match for England. There was absolutely no worry for England as thirdclass bowlers like Dinda & Awana had 4 overs left.

Shame on Dhobi & his losers.

thriller(?) not at all.
by manmohan bala on Dec 23, 2012 11:29 AM

Although the win for England came with the last ball,it was never a thriller after the first catch was dropped by Awana.

Why blame MSD
by Indian on Dec 23, 2012 11:11 AM  | Hide replies

He did his best. Batted well and used his limited resources. Guys drop catches and the first ball went for 4 due to a fielding lapse. I guess MSD should field all over and Yuvi should bowl 8 overs.

Shame we have not sacked brit coach fektcher who as done nothing for the team except to break their morale! Our pacers must be replace immediately by balaji, umesh yadav,v ijaykumar, etc, MSD did a great job as batsman &caotain&he is the best of the world too!

Net Run Rate
by Jomesh George on Dec 23, 2012 10:38 AM  | Hide replies

In a two match T20 series if the series is levelled 1-1 then the winner should be decided based on NRR like in tournaments. In this series India scored 335 off 37.5 against ENG 338 off 40.ie 8.93 against 8.45.Diff is 0.48 in favour of India.Otherwise the series should be upgraded to a 3 match series. The MOS here is valuable for Yuvraj than the WC2011 because it is his first after recovering from a life threatening decease.

guess the match was fixed, so the last ball went for a mere 10 crore if India won and 25 crore if England won, so was the discussion on how will get how much!

Morgan was listening to the pathetic terrible one sided commentary of Saurav in last 5 overs.
Morgan hit that last ball for 6 in direction of comm. box.
would have been nicer if it hit Saurav on his head.
such unashamed bias from former india captain.
