Its high time our JUDICIAL system was speeded up. Defence lawyers protect the criminals by delaying the justice and taking dates and all the cases go on and on for decades. Criminals know their crime will never be proved in courts and hence they have no fear at all. The rich think they can get away with anything by bribing. In such brutal rape cases the statement of the Victom should be more than sufficient to prove the guilt and rapist shud be castrated or chemicaly castrated.
Amidst all these, the most insensitive was the statement of Leader of Opposition, Ms. Sushma Swaraj that even if the victim survives she will live as a "Jinda Laash" (Living Dead) can you believe that?

Do NOT misinterpret.. Ms. Swaraj mentioned that the trauma of rape will make the girl "a living dead"(jinda laash), hence a case in point for capital punishment..
this is alarming for a nation that is mostly vegetarian and has an ancient conscience on morality and cruelty. The words of Swami Vivekananda on women and our attitude towards women need to be revisited. This nation is in all glory for Bollywood and the filth it dishes out to a nation of nearly 40% of who are illiterate. We need citizens groups against the entertainment arts.
