I would say English players put country first and not money. English players are professionals and take pride in playing for England, not like Indian players who are in for money and do not perform while playing for India.
Ya, right. An international cricket match is the perfect setting to showcase one's skill in order to be considered for bigger things like the IPL, where a bowler like Vinay Kumar would spearhead an attack. At least Mr Dhoni got his priorities right :)
Just keep these English players out of IPL, the most exciting show on earth and the one with the most monetary benefit for players. Who needs Test cricket. T20 is the future of cricket and it belongs to India.
Indians have realized IPL is just a joker's game and just cheap entertainment. Real cricket is test and one-dayers. Focus on test Mr Dhoni. Dont mislead people.

Test cricket may be real cricket. But do you know how much time it wastes for everyone? 5 days and 8 hours a day is too long for players and more importantly for millions of people who follow the game. And after all the patience, the tests could end in a draw. That's the reason very few countries play the game and hardly any country is taking up country seriously. People in the west want sports to be short, provide quick results and entertainment. 2 to 3 hours should be the benchmark and an ideal duration for a sports game so people can take their friends and families to the game on an evening.
I for one like the concept of IPL because it is short, result-oriented, colorful and provides thrilling entertainment.
coz if major england players were part of ipl then dhoni/srinivasan could pressure on them to lose to india or lose their ipl contracts but english players happens to be patriotic rather than being traitors like indian players whom will do anything for money under the guidance of dhoni/srinivasan...
