Shame that indian media and some vested isi agents and interests are doing the sachin-bashing for helping some vested interests! Shame Indians are so good in pulling down their own heroes and legends and a player like Sachin comes only once in 500 years,perhaps???Get some reality checks,folks!Ponting or Bradman or Kallis is nobody compared to our legend Sachin for the simple reason that Sachin had to face the fiery bowling of aussies and other countries too and still score 100 centuries! while Ponting or Bradman had the privilege and good lcuk of NOT facing the fiery aussie pace attack and they had the added luxury of facing indian bowlers and score centuries as they want! Further all the umpires were very kind to all white skinned players and very cruel with Sachin and coloured players and so many times Sachin has been given out wrongly ba bad umpiring decisions too! Hope all world and cricket fans will realize now why Sachin is greater than Bradman and Ponting and Others!

Yeah!! And not just that, they rank him as Top ranked Indian batsman in test! How odd is that hah? They should give more chance to young blood in top 25. Sachin should retire from rankings as well.
Atleast we don't expect to see Mr.SRT in team for the country's proud.The person does't want to depert willingly,only to push him forcely to open the place for our genuine new boys.

geniune new boys. Are you mentally ill? Even Sachin fails whathave your youngester done. Nothing. this team is still dependent on Sachin and believe me he will come back. He has plenty of Cricket left in him.

Ye, u know why India loose in this Series,bcoz some Seniors left & if Sachin also retires the opponent teams will mentally strong, Sachin wil rock in near feature.
It is better not to criticise the players who have not played well in the recent Test series vs England. The best thing is for the selectros to pick the team without bias. Those who are performing well in the domestic should be given chance. While selecting the team, country comes first and not any individual. Team want good results not praising any body time and again. Some time players fail, some times they will perform well. Both should be taken in right spirit. But those who are consistently not performing well, it would be better to groom youngesters taking future in mind. No body needs to tell any cricketers, if the country wants the better results and compete with top teams like Australia, South Africa and England, the team should be enthusiastic and have zeal to perform.
sachin had slipped a long while back, cockeyed ranking has slopped now. he is life member in team as has always been in Indian cricket. do you know kapil dev got 37 wickets in last 18 tests he played while better bowlers were out of the team. in Indian cricket last three four years of career are complimentary from the board. performance is not counted.
what has this worthy sachin done in tests in 2012 ,that he is being ranked 22nd, higher than kohli who has scored 3 centuries this year. Rubbish rankings,must have been done by sachin himself

These rankings are based on weighted points system which considers your performance of past few years to show consistency of batsman. Not just one year's performance.
