When umpires against you no one can win even against school biys! Aleem dar won the macth for brits in mumbai Test and Dharmasena and Tucker played for Brits and won the match for them in Nagpur and Kolkataa, what a shame! BCCI and ICC are supporting atch fixing by umpires and NOT punishing the umpires for their mistakes!

no need to panic.....!!
by sridhara jayateertha on Dec 20, 2012 07:51 AM

the only great teem in world cricket was west indian one of 1970s and 80.

australia was dominating because they had more high class fielders plus helping umpires plus arrongant attitude. that only team gave them fight was india even they did not have good bowling or fielding.but our batsmen were able to fight it out but there was BUCKNOR since 1992 to frustrate india whenever we travelled or they travelled here.[ see australias results when BUCKNOR was not officiating ].

england , and south africa are two of the most strongest teems right now in the world.

still england won this series after loosing three serieses...!!

australia just lost one....!! and they alomost close to drawing sri lanka test...!!

only team is doing fine at the moment is south africa.

still it had its bad days...!

now india we should not blame for the loss .

one we lack in tallent and sellection of the team is not right.

any way for the loss we should not cry ...!!

We paid the price for not having confidence in our pacers(less Zaheer) and the overdependance on the not so established spinners.

How many times have the great teams lost series after series, even whitewashes? This didnt stop, being an infalliable team in home now India is proving to be the reversal.

asthith why dont you check the home record of other sides including sa eng and aus for the last 3-4 years...true they might not have been whitewashes but then we too have not been whitewashed at home...we were not whitewashed at home

i assure you this is our first home series loss after so many years but even sa eng and aus have seen quite a few home series losses...so dont get so upset...

The suject should be "Team India no longer infallible at home and away after Dravid, Kumble, Ganguly, Harbhajan." Ofcourse Sachin is not the same Sachin that he used to be in the past.

We may have Kohli, Pujara to replace the batting department, but no one in bowling. Ashwin proved to be not effective. Also he lacks aggression like how Kumble would set field for his bowling even though not much turn.

we all blame Sachin for not retiring and allowing youngsters to play in his place. Has he demanded his selection? Let us ask the selectors and BCCI why they do not have guts to drop him from the team. If the selection committee continue to give red carpet to this non performer what is his fault? People like Rajeev Shukla who among the top office bearers of BCCI stated that Sachin has a right to continue in cricket and it is nobodys business to ask him to quit. No one asked Shukla why he supports Sachin so much in spite of his failure. Sandeep Patil & his team of selectors should be brave enough to select a team comprising players in form and not considering past reputation. How Sachin will play in the team if he is not selected? Let us blame BCCI & Selectors if they select Sachin again and not Sachin himself.

Let it be selector, BCCI, whoever. But you cant ignore the fact that he is ineffective. Either he has to show the same charisma like before or else know the answer. Failing persistently in 3 to 4 series would invite attention always.

Like you there are millions of Sachin's fan waiting for some great innings from Sachin. Not even great, he is even having difficulties getting to two digits now. No hopes lost yet. But Can't see him struggling and India suffering defeats after defeats. Mind you, its not Sachin alone, there are host of players that are under scanner.

Good comment, ramdas,Shame that indian media and some vested isi agents and interests are doing the sachin-bashing for helping some vested interests! Shame Indians are so good in pulling down their own heroes and legends and a player like Sachin comes only once in 500 years, perhaps???Get some reality checks, folks!Ponting is nobody compared to our legend Sachin for the simple reason that Sachin had to face the fiery bowling of aussies and other countries too and still score 100 centuries! while Ponting or Bradman had the privilege and good lcuk of NOT facing the fiery aussie pace attack and they had the added luxury of facing indian bowlers and score centuries as they want! Further all the umpires were very kind to all white skinned players and very cruel with Sachin and coloured players and so many times Sachin has been given out wrongly ba bad umpiring decisions too! Hope all world and cricket fans will realize now why Sachin is greater than Bradman and Ponting and Others!

He should have retired after 2007 WC itself ,

it has been ay too late . what does he think

of himself ? or does he want to extinguish all

the fire youngsters have in them ( as he has

been doing for past 7-8 years ) by signalling

that there is no place for them in the team

because 'he does not feel like retiring' and

max they could do is to play ranji and feel satisfied ?
