I have grown tired of this expression ‘Playing for Pride’. Does it imply that this Indian team had no pride at stake or the desire to win at the start of the Test Series? And, how is that supposed to make players that are selected just for T20s or ODIs feel? That they are second-best simply because they chose to specialize in the shorter formats? Just face up to reality and say, ‘We lost the Tests. Now, we shall do our best to win the next two (T20 and ODI) series’.

Hope umpires making mistakes will be banned for life and not make cricket fans fools as was the case in Tests!

Regain pride by winning two T20s??? Nobody gives a hoot about the T20s! You have lost a Test Series at home. As a minimum you need to win the T20s AND 5-0 in the ODIs. Then you will regain a little pride...
