BCCI SHOULD REVISE THEIR SALARY POLICIES
by Kishor on Dec 18, 2012 03:47 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI should add a clause to remuneration structure in such a way that 50% of each player's salary should be a variable component, which should be purely based on the player's performance in match. Unless BCCI put these kinda clause, players wont have any seriousness while performing in the matches. Just take an example. Sehwag. I would say, he should be suspended at least from a match as a punishment to his very bad performances in the last few matches. He does not have any seriousness while hes in crease. He has been continuing the careless performance for the last 1 year. If you check his performances in his recent matches, it would be more clear for you. SO MY OPINION IS, BCCI SHOULD REVISE THEIR REMUNERATION POLICY IN SUCH A WAY THAT PLAYER'S PERFORMANCE MATTERS THEIR TAKE HOME SALARY. ONLY THEN, THEY WILL HAVE SOME SERIOUSNESS.

As long as Sachin is in team, let us boycott India’s matches and teach a lesson to the sponsors who are pressurizing selectors to keep him in team.

Dhoni cannot come and perform everytime under pressure situation
by chinmay kumar on Dec 18, 2012 02:58 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni with Kohli with their valiant efforts have saved us from another defeat. What we are missing here is that, yet again its Dhoni who came up when the chips were down to save us the match. How many times has he done this right form the day he started playing for India. How many of the other players in the team can you even name to have come at such difficult times and batted like he did under pressure and deliver. NONE !!. Sachin or Sehwag or any of the other player doing this, have become such a rare sight. Where as it seems for Dhoni it’s his job to play well under pressure and still get flaked for a few failures. What a sorry state of mind for a cricket crazy nation like ours.

Kick out him if he does not want to retire. He can,t more than the country's future.Selectors shold have
play like Australian administration.

Dhoni should gp from the captaincy but not from the team now.

Sachin is playing on for earning money. His average is 35 runs in last 2.5 years. Most importantly he is 40 years of age. I dont know Why he need in the team? He is blocked place of Ajinkya Rahane, Manoj Tiwari etc.

Drop him even if he does not want to retire. Why th long rope. In the corporate world people would be sacked for lessor misdeeds. By this rationale all govt servants should decide when to retire. SHAME Tendulkar. Shame on you

Sachin is playing only for earning money as BCCI is giving hefty Rs. 1.5 crore for A grade players. His average is 35 runs in last 2.5 years. Most importantly he is 40 years of age. I dont know Why he need in the team? He is blocked place of Ajinkya Rahane, Manoj Tiwari etc.
If he were in Austrailian side, definitely the selectors like to kick him out of the team. Ricky Ponting is always great than Sachin. He has taken his own decision of retirement. Most importantly he has cemented his place in austrailian side who has great legend during his time !!! Jay Ponting, Jay Ponting !! Shame Sachin Shame Sachin

Dhoni
by Sudhakaran Nair on Dec 18, 2012 01:36 PM  | Hide replies

It is too early to predict on Dhoni. Last year he won the world cup and he himself played in Mumbai. 20-20 world cup - he has won. He should not be blamed for India's series defeat. Take performance of each and every player. What openers done. Shwag played on innings at Ahmedabad. Pujara played only two innings. Kolhli played one innings. Team's success means team work. England had team work and they have won. First give Dhoni a good team and see the results. Sachin 100 % waste in team . why he has been given chance- drop him. Drop shewag, Gambhir, Where is under-19 captian Umakand-give him chance. Bring your players and see the difference.
