Who cares???Umpires dharmasena, tucker, aleem dar and tony hill were best players of the s3ries, for playing for their team!if players can make money, why NOT umpires, folks???shame bcci and icc hss not looked at role of umpires in match fixing! what a shame!
Rather than assigning blame to one or a few individuals (as comforting as that can be), it is time the Test team is examined closely as a unit. But, that will never happen. This Indian team or the Board for that matter simply does not care about Test Cricket. Realistically, we are just one mindless IPL or an ODI game away from forgetting this humiliation at the hands of the English.

That is a misleading argument. No one is forcing anyone to do anything. If you do not like cricket then do not watch it. Everyone has got a choice - whether to go to work or take the day off and sit in front of the TV. I, for one, record the day's play and watch it when I get home, AFTER working. Each person has to decide where to draw the line given their individual circumstances.
So who’s the new captain? Virat Kohli will be an exciting choice. South Africa went for Graeme Smith when he was 22 and he has served them well. India’s Test team needs fresh blood and fresh ideas. And Kohli seems to have these qualities that India is looking for.
Transition is tricky business. Transition also takes time. As the baton passes on from one generation to another, the Indian cricket fan needs to be patient. There may or may not be a pot of gold at the end of it all. But there’s no other way. And there’s no harm in thinking brave and radical.
since the third day of match,it was expected the result of the match, but we expect also the end of long faiiure of sachin coming to retirement,we all hope so.
Re: SACHIN TO STEP DOWN

hardly has any indian player decided to quit on their own volition. Sachin will never retire, he needs to be sacked...
Perhaps it was fitting, too, that Tendulkar should finish the series on the treatment bench, figuratively if not literally. He now represents the old India. A team that, whatever their past excellence, is now tired and in need of refreshing. He deserves to depart on a grander stage than this drab draw on an awful pitch at Nagpur, but 'deserve' has little to do with it. His reputation, as a player and ambassador for the game is assured, but time defeats us all. The success of Cheteshwar Pujara has shown there is talent and dedication available in India. It just requires a culture change to realise it.
Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir, and Dhoni all these top guns should take the blame for this series debacle. Sachin, the senior most for not guiding the team with his experience, Sehwag for his careless approach and Gambhir and Dhoni for the politics they played.(since they could not play good cricket). Sachin always says that he plays for the team's cause. If he really cares for the team he should realise that his days are over and should step down.
Thanks to English Team for playing a draw in the Nagpur Test which they could have easily won... More importantly, Sachin didn't get time to bat in the 2nd innings to score in a single digit..
Congrats to England team for their determination. BCCI, pl sack the senior players in the interest of the nation. Do not consider Sachin for selection even if he is available for selection.

anyway Sachin will always be available. Even when team will be selected for 2023WC he will say he is available and still he feels to play cricket. By then we will be frequently touring Afganistan and Bermuda.
