It is still early to predict the outcome of this match (though many have conveniently concluded in favour of England - I am not one) with our REAL BATTING to come in the form of Ashwin, and jadeja; while Kohli is still on the crease.
As I have been repeatedly asserting in this forum, irrespective of the form to be shown by Tendulkar, Sehwag, Gambhir, Dhoni - they should be RELIEVED fully from any further Test Match for complete rejuvenation of Indian Cricket and its future Global Prestige. This in no way detracts from their monumental contributions in their respective careers.
Nurture a new combination of team with - Murali Vijay, Rahane, Kohli, Pujara, Manoj Tiwary, Dinesh karthik(or Saha), Ashwin, Irfan, Ishanth, Ohja, Dinda(or Umesh yadav) and two or three more.
Appoint a Dark Horse as captain (with Leadership, Inspirational, and Motivational qualities even if cricketing credentials are not excellent) remembering what England did with Mike Brearly and New Zealand did with Lee Germon when they faced similar if not identical problems.
Result will show up clearly in terms of a well balanced, well united and well performing team in the course of just a couple of years. Trust without ego; cordiality without confrontation; and Excellence without Excuses; will be visible to the International audience and a MODEL will be established that Indians can be proud of and other nations can be willing to concede.
i dont know why doesnt the team management bring 2 down ahead of tendlya when has scored the highest score for india so far in the series.atleast move the batting order. Tendlya might having painfull night.for a player who was champ before wud be very frustating to be remembered as the pink bunny of anderson and a flopped overated batsmen.
Dhoni was very edgy & was almost gone first ball.Kohli is also out of touch & has needlessly brought himself under intense pressure by acting bigger then his shoes.he should actually enjoy playing at such early stage of his career then giving Gyan to media.I doubt if both will survive first hour tomorrow & India is most likely face the prospect of a chase of 350 plus in fourth inning
I think we should all stop taking about Indian Cricket. Until you can fire Srinivasan, Dhoni etc. otherwise you have see sachin playing at 90, which is good for us Sachin's fans. Wonder boy Pujara comeing out with excuses and of course Pitch is also against India where Swann can score 50 and our sewag/Ghambhir /Pujara and great Tandulkar give up their wickets easily. MERA BHARAT MAHAN.

who is srinivasan, i dont think he knows anything about cricket, he is just there to make money. i doubt how can a bcci president tells kolkata pitch was not good. then i want to ask him HOW WAS THE MUMBAI PITCH SIRJI?
Bad or lean patch do happen in everyone’s career . Greats like Lara , Steve Waugh , Bradman , Dravid , Border , Sobers , Azhar , Miandad , passed thru bad patch . No need retire . Taking retirement is surrending in cowardness . Player should have courage to overcome failure & bounce back strongly .

Take your own time Sachin, I am sure you can take 4-5 more years to bounce back strongly. And somehow want to trust you that when you bounce back to best, you might think to retire.

He may well create the record of first batsman to ever visit pitch on a wheel chair. After all selectors can't decide on his retirement as claimed by him & he does not have the brains to decide on the date
England team read the pitch well and understood that it won't be easy to score runs and the only way to keep the score board keeps ticking was to stay at the wicket. That's exactly what they did and as a result reached a score of 330 after almost 4-1/2 session of play.
In response Indian batsmen failed yet again with the biggest blow was the wickets of Sehwag and Sachin. The latter MUST either quit or should be dropped from the team from all form of crickets.
Our lead bowlers Ashwin and Ojha fared very bad as they failed to force English batsmen to make a mistake. Plain spineless bowling with neither class or intention to take wickets.
Very sad to see Indian cricket reaching this level.

its a bad time for dhoni. he has been taking wrong dicesions and the big names to show consistency in game. i think they are putting pressure unnecessary on them
