those readers and writers who helkd views that sewah would hit300 dhoni will rain boundaries..india will take lead etc..should realiose that it is not the team that is cuprit but the BCCI .. if the India wants to have a good team in future there is a need to tame the functioning of BCCI and selectors. to do that dont pray for the team win but for loosing it. players need to play for the country with passion and not with wad of notes!!

Before droping sachin, the selectors should be replaced with quality members with some stature in the cricketing world. present selectors do not have guts to replace icon players even if the player is out off form. Tendulkar can prefer to play as long as possible because cricket is his bread and butter. it is upto the Selectors to drop him like any other player if he is not performing.

It may be his bread & butter but he is making team India bankrupt by his drought of runs.Let us accept the fact that his days are over especially when a batsman gets out in similar fashion for more then a dozen time in one year. How many times would he pretend his failure to read incoming ball due to poor eye sight & reflexes as low bounce? Let the commentators also not fool by calling a reasonable height ball as rather low.He is a short guy who should be able to play ball that keeps low rather easily when you compare six feet 5 inches tall KP manage to play without problem on same track?

pradeep ,

the eminent legends turned commentrators on the payroll of BBCI like manjrekar , gavaskar , shastri & bhogle have stopped discussing tendi's dismissal during commentary. they have nothing to say on reflexes , poor judgement of reading the ball Or the technique. gavaskar would suggest that sachin should practice & then come back to the team. is it any surprise.

That was in 2008-9.It is in decline since 2011 from England series onwards. The lack of desire to change old guards & Captain even after 10 test defeats with 11th staring on face tellls you the sorry state of affairs in BCCI.What more do you expect from a board full of sycophants like Shukla whose only contribution to game is membership of RS from Sachin?
