Meek, Weak, and Submissive Kiran More
by Arv Singh on Dec 15, 2012 10:09 PM

Spineless selectors and veterans like Kiran More are the reason why Srini and Dhoni has been able to run the BCCI like a private company. We need more independent minded selectors like Mohinder Amarnath to clean up the system. people like Kiran More should never be selected for a role that requires impartial decision making.

We may need an independent investigator to investigate the following:

1. How come Srinivasan, the president of BCCI was able to own his own private team - CSK in the IPL?

2. The bartering show of naming price for the players seems like a big scam. How come a lowly player like Jadeja was priced higher than all worldwide players? Where did that money go? Who else benefited from it?

3. How much money was exchanged for licensing teams in IPL? How were teams like Deccan Chargers and Kochin were disqualified and new teams selected?

4. How does BCCI award a test, ODI, or T20 game to a field? Some seemed to be favored more than the other.

5. How independent is the selection process? Remember how secretary of IHF was arrested taking bribe for selection in the national team. Does money play a role in cricket too?

6. Was Mohinder Amarnath sacked because he refused to be a rubber stamp for Srini and Dhoni?

7. What award will be given to Kiran More for coming out against Mohinder Amarnath

More the Madari's Monkey

When you dance to a tune that the BCCI tows it just cannot be brushed under the carpet. In a country where passions are high, truth being revealed about past controversies bleeds the heart. Mr.More cannot stand up to the truth at-least don't castrate an Amarnath 'cause he's a league in his own and you are no where close. At Cricket you had to learn from him and to stand ground you need the tutions. You should have seen the Gavaskar, Krish, Vengsarkar and more, what they had to say.

Kiran More..blah blah
by Prabodh Jain on Dec 15, 2012 05:46 AM

Because of such corrupt, self centered and ploitical minded selectors, we are where we're.

India has plenty of talent crickters but they just haven't been given an opportunities to prove themshelves..

Most Indians are so naive and forgiving that nonperormer like Gambhit, Dhoni,Sachin,Sehwag are living on past glory..

Three cheers for Jimmy Paaji....Truth over whims..
by Debbie M on Dec 14, 2012 01:42 PM

Its funny how everyone in the BCCI is saying that Jimmy should not have disclosed what happens inside the board room...But no one is saying that what Jimmy said was not true.So in nut shell Jimmy disclosed the truth and everyone agrees with what Jimmy said....If these are boardroom discussions and BCCI being professional organization then please bring out the documented mintues of the meetings ... If you can't then have the guts to support Gutsy Mohinder Amernath or Keep quiet !!!

Funny
by Santanu Banerjee on Dec 14, 2012 11:32 AM

It sounds funny when Captain and BCCI supported (Vice versa) old selectors talk about building new team. Players like Sachin, Dhoni, Zaheer are playing without any performance whereas new players are getting chances in 16 players squad but not in final 11 or sufficient chances, and thrown out next series. Example- Rahul Sharma in WI series, A.Mukund, Amit Sharma in England series, Rahane,Saha,A.Mithun,Vinay Kumar,Varun Aron in Australia series, Badrinath in NZL series. Can any selector answer why they were selected and on what performance they were rejected.

When he won the world cup the whole country was screaming his name, when a few matches are lost,he has to take all the brunt of it.even when they won the world cup,he did not take the whole credit,so why blame him wholly?it is not the captain only,it's the whole team, which has to perform.there will be ups and downs, where the sportsmanship?

Want to show faithfulness to BCCI and continue to get benefits
by Subrat Roy on Dec 14, 2012 11:19 AM  | Hide replies

Mr. Kiran More is the most controversial selectors we ever had and we all knew how he danced to BCCI tunes. It is also very clear that he knows everything to keep the BCCI happy to get benefitted from BCCI in different ways. Amarnath has the guts to speak out which Mr. More could not do in his lifetime. Amarnath is always resepcted as a fighter and will remain to be one.

Secondly Mr. More we are not discussion national security which requires utmost secrecy......
