People asking for Dhoni to be sacked are not even opening mouth about Sachin's place in the team. why this biased double standards, not just from ex-selector/ players but also from people in this forum. I see this as North-south divide and a conspiracy and very disgusting.

Sachin should be asked to leave first followed by some revamp in the team and handle internal politics. Where is this Amarnath when Sachin was performing badly, we all know his own standard (Amarnath made scores of 0,0,0,1,0,0 and was hence dropped just months after his career-high success at the 1983 World Cup) in his career. Why double standards for players like Laxman, Dravid, Ganguly (east indian)
He is a master politician and had enough cream from BCCI after his cricketing years. He has a penchant for needling the English or Aussies but licking their land of soil at the same time. He just wants to be in the lime light and has NO SPINE what-so-ever. He dropped kapildev on his own whims. he promoted that good-for-nothing Shastry for his benefit. He is parochial to the core. Of course he does not have the guts to call spade a spade. He is no Kapil or no Jimmy. He is a sheep
If it is the Procol of the Board in which way you threatened the Board & removed Kapil for ONE TEST ? How much money you received to talk like this ? Anybody can captain INDIA & Dhoni is not the only man to lead INDIA. Only a foool can talk like not you SMG.

Dhoni is not indispensable. He is replaceable, that is why there is a vice-captain who can take over. Gavaskar is a politician, only yesterday he was after Dhoni!
In his statement is Gavaskar trying to save Dhoni or Sirinivasan. It seems both. There is enough angst among the Indian cricket lovers that Dhoni should be sacked as the skipper of the team, and his being the skipper of IPL TEAM CSK owned by Sirinivasan may be coincidental but definitely plays a part. Jimmy is right in this regard.
